I have actually never had any issues here. I think they are clear on the requirements on the website step by step. The lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. One recommendation people line up early at the building downstairs. The method of taking people up the elevator is helpful but it may be helpful to have a number system to keep the line up honest when they get upstairs. Just a thought. All in all. Good experience

Ok folks! Let me put down a quick guideline when waiting in the queue for POA (Power of attorney document attestation.1. If you come here, with a car, park at 75 Huntley St. (16$ max a day for parking here)2. You find the elevator and come inside the building.3. You will come to the consulate main entrance.4. Find the security guard. He might be there.5. Tell him the reason for your visit and he will take you to the elevators that take you to the 7th floor where the consulate is.6. Go to the office door. It’s right beside the elevator.7. Once you get in there will be a gentleman inside for issuing token.8. Mention the reason for visit to the person and he will verify the documents and issue the token.9. Wait in line to be called.10. Usually they collect documents, you pay 16$, they send you back to wait usually until 11.30 am and you can come back at the time mentioned by them to collect the attested docs.TIPS1. Park at the 75 Huntley St. Location for 16$ daily max2. Come to the office atleast by 8.30 am and wait beside the rexall pharmacy side, nearby the consulate entrance (This is where the line up usually starts before 9.30). Be there by atleast 8.30 to avoid long lineups.3. For POA attestation, you need (1) miscellaneous form filled out from the consulate website - paste your photo on the form (2) POA (2 copies) - 1 copy is for them and other copy shall have your 2x2 photo attached on last page and signed on all pages bottom (3) Passport (1 copy) (4) PR card (1 copy) (5) Drivers license (1 copy)

To enhance user experience, it's essential to supply accurate and comprehensive information on the website and within the office premises. This will prevent unnecessary shuttling, saving valuable time and resources. The goal should be to streamline the process, taking inspiration from the efficient systems in place at the Ministry of Ontario Services.I was unnecessarily ask to get documents attested by Ontario consumer services even though I wasn't a Canadian citizen.

I am writing this from inside CGI. Came here for attestation of civil documents. Was really worried reading the reviews about wait time and mismanagement. To avoid this, I reached at 9am and was the first one to get token. The process:1. You enter the room and a very humble guy verifies the document. If few photo copies are missing, he will point you to use their copier for free. He hands out the token.2. At 9:30am, the counter opened and a nice lady verified the documents and told me the fee. After I paid, she gave me a receipt and asked that my attested docs will be available at 11:30am.And now I am waiting.Till now, my experience is really great.Update:At 11:30, people queued up on different counter to collect the documents. For this counter there is no token system used. You are server as per the queue lined up. The step is quick.Overall a positive experiencePS: Make sure photocopies as mentioned online for doc checklist are there as they are keeping it for recordkeeping

I am really happy and proud with the service they given me. I had to help my friend who have mental sickness. He lost his passport and we need to send him back home ASAP . Because he has no Helth card in Canada. They help me to go through all the paper work for emergency certificates for his travel. All the staff was very helpful. Especially Rolle ma’am was super helpful. She always follow up with us by understanding our situation. Thank you so much for all the help.

My experience was quite pleasant. I had heard stories of how long it takes to get things done here but was really impressed . I was there on Jun 5, 2023. The guy who hands the tickets out in the morning and the security guard were very helpful in making sure that all the documents looked in order . I didn’t get their names but both of them were very good in helping everyone . The security guard was helping everyone with the photocopying because double copies are required . I was really impressed with the dedication of these 2 guys . I got there at 10 am and had had my papers attested by 1 pm
