Great food. A little expensive but always good and fresh.Jamaica and Horchata drinks are marvelous.Always friendly. Chips for salsa or guacamole are hot from the grill and fantastic!

If you're ever in the Newport, VT area, America's Taco Shop is a must. I've been eating here ever since they opened, then moved away. On my recent visit to Vermont, after being away for a few years, I could not wait to sink my teeth into one of America's burritos. I ordered a Mexicali Burrito, and other members of my family ordered the Carne Asada Bowl, Carne Asada Chips, and California Burrito. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and truly enjoyed the hospitality, Especially after being away for so long, and to be remembered and treated like family, it's certainly a rare thing in today's world.Thank you America, my entire family appreciates you; until our next visit to Vermont.

I really like this place, it's got awesome food that's consistent which no where in the NEK can say, and awesome service. Pretty sure I've had the majority of the menu by now an if not my own order, finished my wife's food lol. Salads, tacos, burritos, all really awesome an there's no wrong answer. It is worth noting though, the burritos are small. I'd say significantly smaller of that you'd get from qudoba, or chipotle.

I’m not even finished eating and I had to write MY FIRST REVIEW EVER (I think)! Absolutely FANTASTIC!! Vibe was so friendly- I wanted to stay! But I brought it home to husband, who worked in a taco shop for many years. He was not thrilled that I brought home Mexican food… UNTIL HE TRIED IT!! We will be making the 40 minute drive just to eat here again. A destination on my map now! Thank you

So far this is my favorite Mexican spot in Vermont. I had pollo asado and adobada tacos and we shared carne rolled tacos and mexican street corn. Everything was full of flavor and and felt very homemade. The staff is super friendly. 10/10 recommend.

5 stars isn't enough for how good this place is. It's some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and always consistent. America is an absolute delight. I can't recommend this place more.

From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a good time. The menu was super descriptive (helpful for a picky husband) and the choices were overwhelming in the sense that I couldn't decided what to eat: it all sounded amazing. I got the adobo pork tacos, husband got a quesadilla, and my daughter got flautas. As soon as we got the food, I knew this was as authentic as it could get. My mother from Chihuahua was surprised when I told her about the amazing food we got in VERMONT. I was beat to the punch. I wanted to bring some Mexican cuisine to Vermont, but you guys win! The most delicious food I have had in a very long time. I felt at home. Like my mom would pop out of the kitchen. Thank you so much for such a wonderful trip down memory road. I hope everyone comes here and gets the full experience. Also, I got two red salsas which meant I got to bring some home for breakfast the next morning. Again, thank you and keep up the great work! Gracias!!
