They can be extremely hard to communicate with and we experienced a long delay in getting our inquiries answered and delivery received (more than 6 months). Maybe it was supply chain problems but we went weeks or months before hearing from them. But then we finally got our order! So all good in the end.

I rarely leave negative reviews however feel compelled to confirm a number of reports below posted over the years. Years ago, our new Outback trailer from Joe arrived late, with frustrating communication and interaction, consistent with other reviews. The trailer itself performed as advertised, once we were free of Joe's process. What compels me to post an advisory to potential customers is how follow up maintenance in successive years was often unprofessional and, in one case, negligent. Between several upgrades and routine maintenance for our Outback, I witnessed employees who were visibly drunk and smelled of alcohol; over-charging for simple repairs such as window caulking; and, worst, a faulty axle re-pack (routine maintenance) that resulted in one of the wheels nearly falling off within 45 minutes of leaving the shop. This final incident could have easily resulted in a highway wreck -- the wheel was partially off its axle -- and luckily we smelled melting/buring axle before the wheel fully dislodged. See photos. I suspect this incident had something to do with substance abuse witnessed above, however we've never gone back since. There are now many more options for small trailers and many other people who can better help maintain them. There is no excuse for some of what we experienced and would advise others to seek better options. I have no vested interest in Trillium either way and offer this review as information to those who value safety and honesty.

INFINITE STARS!!! Trillium and Joe amazing; I can't recommend them enough. They have done inspections, maintenance and repairs to our vintage 1978 Trillium 4500 trailer. They also sell parts for the work we can do ourselves. It's amazing. Also, Ive seen the new trailers in various stages of production and am always impressed with the quality. Joe and the staff are friendly, helpful and actually care (the four legged ones are pretty spiffy too). Seriously I can't recommend this place enough - for a new trailer , or maintenance/repairs on the original models.(Nifty tidbit: Joe bought the rights to the original Trillium trailer molds that they use for the new models so new and old parts are mostly interchangeable);)

We just bought a 1976 Trillium and I searched for a place to buy some needed parts and help. Joe at Outback has been super helpful in getting my parts sent out to me as well as on the phone guidance with installing! Very prompt and courteous. Thanks for the great customer service Joe! It’s nice to know you are there when we need something or some advice about our new little trailer!☺️

In February, we brought our 1973 Trillium travel trailer for maintenance. When we reached the given address, we were informed that the service center had recently moved to a larger facility in Carseland. Consequently, we headed to the new location and had the opportunity to explore their expanded premises, witnessing their ongoing expansion. In case Google Maps hasn't updated yet. The new location is here.223072 Range Rd 260, Carseland, AB T0J 0M0Furthermore, it is important to mention that there were no visible signs indicating the location of the service center. We had to enter through the secondary driveway on the side and seek assistance from other businesses situated within the expansive facility to locate the the facility. But the front access should be accessible now.

The camper that Outback made for me is a good, solid little camper. The fiberglass is well insulated and very weather resistant. The gear inside is well thought out and well put together. We have a water pump, a furnace, solar, an inverter and a microwave - a very luxurious experience for a 13ft camper! The issues that Outback experience are with project management. I put down my deposit at the start of February on the understanding that my camper would be ready for pickup halfway through March. On March 7th I was told it was seven days from completion and the full balance was due. I paid it, and asked if the camper could be stored for me till April 1st, and Outback agreed. At the end of March, having checked that we were still good for pickup, I drove from Vancouver to Calgary to collect. When I arrived I found that the camper was not close to finished. The Outback team had experienced some medical issues, which I very much felt for them on, but no one had told me my camper was delayed, and had in fact reassured me it was ready. I spent the next three weeks visiting the workshop multiple times a week to check in on the camper. The production team worked very hard to get it done, and the management were apologetic. They handled the whole thing reasonably, but if I hadn't had the time available to hang around in Calgary, I would have had to return home without a camper - and having to pay for almost a month of unexpected hotel stays did put a dent in my wallet!Once I got the camper there were some teething issues - a hot water heater burnt through its casing and leaked, which Outback immediately replaced, which I was very grateful for. There was also a mistake in my trailer's VIN which meant I had to drive back to Calgary again to get it fixed before it could be registered in BC.But now that I have had the camper 2 months the quality of the work shines through. It's a neat, compact, well made little trailer that tows great. The shop team at Outback really know their stuff. It's only on timescales that the company falls down, and in-person visits result in better customer service.Overall the product is good quality and I'm happy with the end result. I haven't yet received my $495 refund for a part they didn't have in stock, but I am looking forward to receiving it as soon as possible.

I just picked up my long awaited partial new-build and I am so happy with it! It unintentionally got put through it's paces immediately after picking it up. While I am by no means recommending driving through these conditions, I drove it home through white-out blizzards, iced over roads, and 65mph crosswinds(with the help of sand bags) It handled beautifully. I have no doubt that I got the exact camper I set out to buy. Joe went above and beyond to help customize things here and there. and while covid-19 threw everything for a loop, he really pulled through in the end. All good things are worth the wait

I rarely leave reviews, however I feel obliged to share my experience with Trillium Trailers to let others know what they’re getting into.First thing I will say is we like our trailer and haven’t had any issues with it so far.We ordered our trailer back in the fall of 2021 and was told it would be ready for pick up April 1. April 1st came and went and we didn’t hear anything from Joe. We sent multiple emails and tried calling but weren’t getting any response. They informed us our trailer would be ready mid April then last minute pushed it back another week. This happened at least 3 times and we didn’t get final confirmation until June that our trailer was ready. Upon pick up we realized that no trailer brakes were installed, even though we had specifically confirmed we had wanted them (both over the phone and email). He ended up selling us all of the brake components (full price as quoted originally) and told us that all the wiring was in place and an experienced RV tech could install them easily in 2 hours. Well after getting the trailer home and taking it into an experienced RV tech that was not the case at all. The trailer was not wired for brakes and it ended up costing us ALOT more than expected. After communicating this to Joe he made excuse after excuse and simply stated he was going to “leave it at that”. Extremely poor customer service in my opinion.

We picked up a camper from Joe and his son right before the Pandemic a few years ago. We have used the camper every summer virtually every weekend and we are more in love with the unit now than ever. It has lasted many storms and bumpy roads and rides just as well today as ever. Thanks again Joe!
