Our group of 14 had dinner reservations on Jan 2. Alto has a menu full of great dishes. Most of us chose their pizza and everyone loved their choices. The 14 of us agreed that our favourite dish was the BBQ Chicken Pizza. We all enjoyed the atmosphere, service and our meals.

We spent so much time here it’s criminal...we actually got asked to leave but that’s another story....fine I’ll tell you! We were too drunk. Anyways! The Prosciutto arugula pizza was to die for. Espresso martinis are a must. And if you wanna go extra crazy get a bottle of Jackson Triggs on ice (they will charge you $50 for it). If you need a break from the ski hills than alto is the place for you. Good vibes good times and great food.

The restaurant was quite quiet at about 2:00 in the afternoon after we finish our runs. there were only about 2 to 3 tables in the restaurant so we felt quite safe. various precautions for being followed. The food was fantastic, especially the clam chowder and a pizza. Our kids love the hot chocolate as well.Gave us the perfect rest after a day of skiing before we headed back to Fairmont Hot Springs

Our dinner and drinks were amazing. We’ve eaten here in previous years and I promise if you have as well it’s worth another try this year. Honestly, some of the most delicious food I’ve had in a long time and amazing service! Thank you!! We had the beef short rib and duck and both were so delicious! I feel like our photos don’t do justice to the amount of food.

Worst experience ever!Weekend ski trip ended on a super low.Ordered 3 tenderloin meals. There ability to cook a is disturbing. Came out twice and still horrible.I actually ended up leaving without eating.They provided me with 20% off my over priced drinks.Way to wreck a great weekend.

Pizza and pasta dinner was quite decent. Nice outdoor seating. Reminds me of Whistler village a bit. It is located in Panorama mountain resort near the gondola.

Great service, great food and decent price! We were hungry and they had what we needed, good pizza, wings and nachos. The food was so fast too! Thanks guys!!

Hands down one of the top 2 restaurants in Hinton pertaining to food quality, presentation and amount.Only gave 4 stars because every time we have eaten there the odour of deep frying permeates throughout the restaurant. Not sure if they don’t turn on the exhaust or if there is a problem with it.Being a town owned property something needs to be done.We are torn… the meal is always excellent but smell like a carnival worker when we leave.Also the choice of beer is very limited to standard, middle of the road choices. Would it kill to stock some local Folding Mountain IPA?Will try it again but if the atmosphere doesn’t improve, we will stick to the Steakout.

Located inside the Panorama BC Resort, Alto restaurant is situated right in the center of the attractions in the resort - it is just beside all the gondola rides going up the beautiful mountains. When in Panorama, I would recommend this place (and it is the most visible restaurant in the resort).My personal favorites are its pizza creations - specifically the Ham & Pineapple as well as its El Clasico flavours. I specifically like their Ham and Pineapple pizza because of its soft and delicious ham. The taste is also unique because their pizza is cooked in a brick oven.The interior of the restaurant is not only spacious, but it has already a modern design. The place would also be ideal for big family or even corporate gatherings because of its large interior size.When we went to this place this weekend, it was not so busy, so we were able to choose our own tables.We also ordered pop, and just to let you know it is also refillable (just in case you forgot to ask the server).

Latest reviewI keep trying to support this place but the manager is still checked out, service is hit and miss here. Be better Alto! Your the only real restaurant on the hill when the golf course is closed. I recommend going to the golf course if you have the choice.**a second review**came back again to Alto and we were not disappointed - the pizza here is great - they have definitely dialed this in - don’t hesitate to come to Alto - and we are so happy that we squeezed in before the new B.C. lockdown - Order takeout you will be happy you did - great flavour and cooked to perfection- Marissa and her team deserve a pat on the back for sure :)**first review**Second time I have ordered this pizza. Second time I sent it back for under cooked shrimp. All other pizza is good but this is a fail on the chefs part. On. another note the food contamination is a problem. Watched the cook grab shrimp from prep container and the dug into veggie containers same glove. The is a fail by food health inspectors. This a great spot but needs some management doing there job and correcting this poor food handling behaviour.Only customer in place at noon on Saturday during COVD 19 scare and had to get there attention for service, wine glass was sitting empty for 30 min before I finally asked for a refill. Shouldn’t they be happy I’m there and falling all over themselves to help me spend money.
