The training she is receiving is superior. She is not just learning a routine, she is learning about expression, emotion, technique and it shows every time she takes to the dance floor. It is not just the students that take classes. The teachers are bettering themselves as well. They bring their new knowledge to our kids. Through this studio, my daughter has had incredible opportunities dancing with some of the industries biggest dance stars (So You Think You Can Dance USA, and Canada, The Next Step, Blake McGrath, etc...).If your child wants a future in dance or any of the arts, you bring them to TJ's. TJ's is a smaller studio and the kids and parents are treated like family. I am proud to say where my daughter dances. TJ's Dance Troop. (I have had my daughters dance at other local studios over many years, and this studio is hands down the best at teaching the ART of dance)

My daughter started dancing competitively with Tj's at 9 years old. She is now 16. We have recently moved over an hour away but are still making the commitment to continue with Tj's, this is how much we love the studio. Trisha and Brittany care about the students progress and train them to help each student meet their personal goals and potential. The support they show each and every student shows the commitment they have to their kids and their passion for teaching. The friendships that my daughter has made will be life long and they are like family. The students support each other and respect one another and you see this in every dance they perform. It's beautiful to see and an honor to be part of this amazing studio.

Took our daughter to Disney dance the classes are 30 min. They take the kids in a few minutes late and send them off a few minutes early. Had some kids run the class not professional

In the aspects of teaching and technique TJ's is good studio! But their prices are quite expensive and they do not offer many classes at different times for rec dancers. This has caused both my sister and I to move our children to other studios because of the lack of classes and times.

We switched from a much larger studio a year ago to TJ’s and have not looked back. The directors, faculty, parents and kids are wonderful and made our girls feel more than welcome! Thank you!

Excellent studio! We have been to other studios in the area but here the training in technique and every aspect of dance is second to none. The studio directors and teachers are amazing and time is spent with every single student to ensure they are reaching their full potential in a comfortable and fun environment.

This is the second dance studio in Bowmanville we've tried. Moving from Toronto, I found it really hard to find one that had skilled teachers. My kids aren't in competetive dance but even in rec they're learning actual techniques and not just bopping around on stage. If down the road my girls want to do competetive, they'll be prepared. So happy we found TJ's!

My daughters have been dancing with TJ's for many years. Started off in the recreational program back when they were little ones, and then after a break to explore other interests, came back to the competitive program 3 years ago. I admit, I was nervous at first because they had not danced in a few years, and in the dance world were entering the competitive ring later in life". Execellent studio with amazing teachers for both rec and comp. We have felt welcomed since day one we love the family environment. So glad we found T.J.’s!
