Gateway Painting

I needed stain to match an existing spiral staircase to replace the nosing and touch up many areas. A paint store in the area had tried for a month to get a match but wasn't successful. Jeff came to my house to see the stairs and came back in a week with two stains and top coat and showed me how to match the existing stain. I really appreciate his service and effort to resolve this difficult task!

The quality and attention to detail was exceptional. The team works very well together and are open to any questions you may have. They also came back in a timely manner and touched up one or two spots to my satisfaction. This was definitely money well spent and they will be back to do our laundry room.

Gateway painted our kitchen cupboards one week ago, including patching old handle holes and drilling and installing new handles. They were careful, clean, polite, and detail-oriented. They also completed the work within the timeframe they specified, and started the work only two weeks after their initial estimate that they provided a month and a half earlier (in my experience this is unusual as contractors always take much longer than they tell you). A slight issue with one of the drawer pulls was quickly responded to and corrected with careful diligence and communication. One of the most professional companies that have done work in our house. I would highly recommend them.

The GW Painting did a fantastic job painting our kitchen cabinets. Our project took longer that it should be but there is no complaint. We found out that it was challenging to paint oak and Jordan did his best to make sure that we are completely satisfied with the final look. We love our new kitchen and thank to Jeff, Jordan, Sam, and the GW painting team. I definitely recommend this team.

Kevin and his crew did exactly as promised, stained the brick for our entire house perfectly. The painting was done with extra care around all doors, windows and soffits. The attention to detail they spent made it look like the brick was always that colour rather than painted. Neighbours have been asking us all about it. We are really glad to have gone with stain on our brick instead of paint using Gateway Painting.I'd recommend to anyone wanting to refresh their house, inside or out.
