Medical staff are wonderful, welcoming, professional, working quickly. Patients are always processed quickly.

Had blood taken today.... was the worst pain i ever felt when having blood taken or even giving blood.I have had blood taken many times. Today it hurt going in, felt like she was pulling it to the side and hurt the whole time. When she took out needle felt like she dragged it to the side.Not sure why she did that. I will never go back.I would leave zero if I could.

Went to get blood this morning. So understaffed it is sad. The receptionist a was another person who collects blood so only other person taking blood couldn’t keep up. Then finally receptionist comes on 8:30 and things move. Unacceptable over 45 waiting not because of many people but scheduling is inefficient. Everyone knows Mondays is busy and specifically I went in early and there was no one in waiting room just a few sitting waiting for blood collection on the back. MANAGEMENT do your JOB. You will lose customers. I am not the only one saying this. Schedule more employees. Do better.

Worse place ever. They opened at 7am but didn't have enough staff, so they made everybody wait taking until 8 am when more staff came in. I waited 45 minutes, and i was 4th in line! What a joke. Never again. You've been warned!

PLEASE DON’T bring your babies/children here. The blood technicians had absolutely NO clue what they were doing when they needed to draw blood from our 5 month old’s arm. They approached us whispering to each other with nervous looks on their faces. They caused our baby so much pain and bruising; telling each other to “bend his arm! Bend his elbow!” while he sat there SCREAMING for MINUTES with a needle in his arm. They wouldn’t answer us when we asked simple questions, except for “I don’t know” and were completely insensitive, unprofessional and had the nerve to tell us “they’re stressed too and have other patients they needed to get to” when THEY couldn’t get a drop of blood from him. We waited well over an hour to be seen, just to have them cause him tons of fear and pain. He needed his stool sampled as well and they gave NO instruction to us on how to collect it (we had the sealed sample with us too, and they did nothing to help us).You know the situation wasn’t handled appropriately when the entire row of people in their cubicles next to us, who overheard and seen the entire situation, came up to my partner and I with support and empathy or shared warm words on our way out - one person saying that another blood technician on Ouellette is much better with children. We left without having ANY highly important testing being done, and found out how many negative reviews this blood lab has received. From their lack of knowledge & procedures to staff turnover. Even our own PEDIATRICIAN; who after hearing we took our little guy to TMC - recommended we NOT since Ouellette is much more highly trained with babies and children.

Saturday mornings can be quick but it's a 50/50 on how fast they are. I've been told 20 min and waited 40 and been told 20 and waited 5. No rhyme or reason. They prioritize based on test types not first come first serve so you have no real way of knowing how long you will be. The techs are nice enough and the process is smooth at least.

I used the check-in for the 1st time. Huge disappointment. Said 24 mins. Waited at least an hour.

There was a wait. You can see by the staff, they are working as hard as they can, it's obvious. They have very busy times throughout the day. If you are in a hurry, pick a time less busy. They were so kind and caring when my blood was being drawn by a lab technologist. She was amazing and given my experience I am sure she could handle children, even babies. I give them two thumbs up and I will return. It is easy to get results too!

Quick, efficient and barely felt anything when she took my blood! Will definitely go here again for bloodwork

Unprofessional window attendants both times. Person on the phone gave me bad information that wasted a trip to the medical lab and had to return home. Both receptionist were ignorant both times and made me feel as if I was interrupting them or a burden to their day. Hey we all know the pay is good in the medical field but can you try and put on a smile for the money you are making or hire people with some sort of personality. I left feeling like they would rather not have helped me if they we're obliged to but thats what you can thank your free health care for!
