Glen Abbey Golf Club

Great restaurant. Came on a Friday evening with the family. Bunch of different dishes ordered but I got Lamb Gyro (could have used more sauce). Other dishes ordered were: monk burger, fish and chips, shrimp special, and the salmon. Good experience, felt rushed at the end, but can’t wait to get in a round of golf later this summer.

One of the most prestigious courses I have ever played at! It’s very nostalgic with “the shot” on the 18th and the green sitting right next to the amazing club house!The back 9 is definitely more challenging and fun to play than the front, but regardless the greens, the fairway and the tee boxes are in amazing condition.Would definitely go again !

Considering all the discussions over the past years that they wanted to close it (but it will not because Clublink withdrawn their development plans on July 9th 2021) they still manage to have a course in great condition and fun to play with a good pace.

Well first off weather was great so that makes for a good start. The course in general was in good shape considering it hasn’t rained much lately, a few dry patches and such but the greens were great and quite a few of the bunkers (unfortunately) had good sand that was not compacted. Pace of play was great, not really waiting much, four hour round shot in the 90s for our group.There is a few holes where water comes into play but there are ample opportunities to avoid losing your ball. Most of the fairways off the deck have a pretty wide range if where you could put your ball and still maintain a good lie for the follow up.It’s a club link course for members but we got a special promo for it cost $120 riding, good deal would play again at that rate but if had to pay the full price I would play elsewhere like TPC Osprey but it depends where you are driving from.

Not worth the money. We played glen abbey day after playing TPC Toronto Hoot and were underwhelmed by the quality of the course for the 210 dollars or so that we paid. Since the course is a storied course it probably was worth the check mark but that was it. Greens were pretty fast though and we definitely felt it in the par 3 14 where you needed some skill/ luck to get ball closer to the pin! Couple of sand traps had wasps buzzing big time and one of the players in my foursome decided not to even bother getting into trap because it was pretty bad.

Well I played 36 with the brother in the hottest day of the year. That said the drink cart was around very regular to keep us hydrated and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The course was in great shape with pretty wide fairways but well guarded greens. A few holes on the back are very scenic and worth playing. Very much enjoyed it.

I played here this morning and couse was in great condition. It was a team event so overall very happy with service and challenges with some of the holes. Ground staff did a great job to keep course in prestine condition.

Stunning views, most beautiful days in a year.Every Canadian golfer must play in this course at least once.

Great course but I’ve rated at this time. Not properly kept. But perhaps looking for an investor so why care.
