Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa - Derry Village

I have been a happy Hand and Stone customer for several years in other location. However at the Derry Village location it is very difficult to get appointment and there are several cancelations in the past. I am struggling with health issues and unable to get the massages as frequently as I would have liked.

I have been trying to call them to book an appointment for the last two weeks intermittently. But they never pick up. NOT ONCE. And their voicemail inbox is also full so I can't do that either.You have no clue how frustrating this is! Their subpar website does not let me book two appointments at the same time otherwise I would've done it already.Tell me, is this a representation of how you would treat a client in person too? Should I just drop the plan to visit? Help me.

I made an appointment for a facial only to find out after driving for 25 min that the facial therapist was going to be late for another 20 min. When I came back to the spa she was going to be further late by 10 min. Now it was 30 min. So unprofessional already. Then the staff comes and tells me that it will be another 15 min bcoz their steamer wasn’t working. I had booked 50 min facial and that shortened to 30 min. Why would they book apppointments when they knew that they don’t have the equipment working. Another major blooper. She did a terrible job doing the facial and I was so frustrated for the services provided. Will never recommend it to anyone. So saddened by the experience.

Great massage by Hassan, however massage prices at this location differ each time visit.Not sure if brochure is up to date?

Noshi did an excellent facial. She did a very good skin assessment followed by a very relaxing facial. She was very knowledgeable and gave me advice on how to do my skin care routine, what skin issues she is seeing and provided advice on how to take care of skin. She also gave me a nice head massage which was much needed! I highly recommend facial from Noshi.. you will not be disappointed! My skin feels fresh and healthy after the facial.. I will be coming back to her!

Very professional team and good customer service. The only thing they can improve is; must use fresh linen every time for new customer.Dora is a great massage therapist!

Samantha is very skilled with working with pain patients. She is kind and very considerate of your needs. She only applies the pressure that you request. She will advise you if it will cause you pain if the pressure is too much for what you are experiencing but will not force you not to get the treatment you ask for. This does lead to you being sore the next day by no fault of hers as she aims to make her patients happy. Her knowledge of pressure points and easing pain in sore muscles and calming nerve pain is quite amazing. Her technique is different to other therapist but she achieves amazing results. Having had massage therapy for almost 25 years it is also quite refreshing to meet someone with such happiness and smiling every time you visit her. Definitely recommend Hand and Stone

By far the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I do not even understand how this business is still open. If you want any service at this location - don’t bother!!! They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE OR REPLY TO THEIR VOICEMAILS!! The voice box is FULL more often than not!! I had to have their massage therapist tell them to call me & even then - I’m still awaiting for my receipt I asked for long ago!! If it weren’t for our valued massage therapist I wouldn’t left a long time ago. It after calling again today 10+ times, leaving another voicemail & not hearing back - I will be cancelling my services & calling head office. Their one job is to book appointments - but they can’t do that bc they don’t have anyone answering the phone?!? Like how does that even work or make sense. Hire people. Have them sit down at the desk & do nothing else but answer phones!!! By far the worst CS ever.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON DERRY VILLAGE H&S.
