Good atmosphere and pleasant wait staff. Unfortunately, we ordered draft beer and it wasn’t cold. Wings were great but ordered the seafood soup and our bowls weren’t even half full and it lacked seafood, $15/bowl. When it was mentioned, we were told that that is a common complaint from other patrons.Nothing was done to correct it, probably wouldn’t return.Overall it was ok.

Although the full club sandwich with no fries or anything for 17.99 it was still really good. It was one of the better clubs that I've had. Great atmosphere. Great service!

This is my second time at the Hilltop and the staff there is incredible, always friendly and accommodating. I was served about an hour before closing by Alicia (Alisha?) and she regularly checked in on my table and was very friendly. The food was hot and very delicious! We were told it was a 45 minute wait but we definitely got served quickly regardless, much less than 45 minutes! I thank all the staff for making this a great experience.

On a visit to Fredericton for the first time. I gave 3 stars for quality vs price of the food. I give 5 stars to the waitress for despite being understaffed was very nice and polite. Waited a long time to be served but I’m not complaining about that because I do understand the staffing issues. I don’t understand all the comments about how great the burger was, because mine was really ordinary. Almost 15$ just for the burger alone, plus, sides are extra? What a disappointing pricing strategy. Lots of alcohol choices is a plus. Overall, waitress friendly, food just ok, long wait. Maybe I’ll give them a second chance before I leave Fredericton, unless I stumble upon a better restaurant in town.

Went to this great little restaurant for work late on Saturday night.It came highly recommended by the locals as a great spot to tuck into a good steak and a cold beer.It did not disappoint!The staff were super freindly and quick.The menu has a little bit of everything and the prices were great.I'll tell ya, it hit the spot after being on the road all day.Lots of good beer and the food was spot on.If you're in the area I highly recommend this great place!

I ordered pan fried haddock with capers. It came with a nice medley of vegetables and probably the best mashed potatoes I’ve had in a while. The veggies weren’t the usual frozen carrot and pea medley which was a pleasant surprise as well. Full marks for the food but couldn’t give full credit as I found the price a bit steep.

We love coming here! Never disappoints. Very large restaurant, with lots of seating. The food is always great and the portions we've always been happy with. Personal favourites are the lamb burger and the Goat cheese, Cranberry, and Pecan salad. I can't have goat cheese and they substitute it for feta no problem :)

The steak was delicious, garlic mash was unreal, and the service was excellent. Kiddo and Mama loved the place and the food. It was homey and comfortable, easy to get to on the way through if you're passing by. Definitely recommend it.

The Hilltop Maritime Tavern
This place should be way busier than it is. Went on Thursday App night.... Had the best wings I've had in a long time in this city. Service was top notch, super friendly. Great popcorn too. In 20 years of going here I've never had a bad meal. Great steaks and burgers.
