Nespresso Boutique

Spoke to an amazing human named Lee- super informative and fun time learning about which machine might be best for me. I hadn’t approached with the intention of replacing my machine at home but now I have a fun little wish list for the Black Friday sale. Thank you Lee!

Showed up 1 minute past closing after driving 20 minutes into the city to get some sleeves and refused service, rude staff. Surprised they wouldn’t considering when they are open you can’t get out of there without saying no 100 times from trying to sell you 100 things you don’t need. Will only be ordering online.

I have tried to buy a machine here for over a year, but I really just wanted to look at the different models first and chat with someone, ask questions, however the Halifax location has the WORST customer service I have ever encountered, they have no clear signage saying you need to stay in line even if you are just looking at the machines, and there is always a line that is way too long and staff are rude and not helpful.I have been yelled at by staff and told to go stand in line while trying to figure out how to see the machies, and when I tried asking a question about the machine I was ignored, as to say we will not speak with you unless you get in line.I eventually gave up on owning this machine, but luckly a friend of mine has one and while visiting in ontario I tried lots of different coffees and visited boutiques there, which offered much high quality of service, I ended up buying one and so far am satisfied with the product, but I will not ever go back to the Halifax location. They are single handely destroying the brand's reputation.

Absolutely love this place! Love the coffee, and the staff here are always super helpful and offer great customer service. Busy during the weekends, we do get free coffee tasting while waiting in line.

My friend out of town placed an order for pick up, but I wasn’t a member so they wouldn’t even look it up to see if it’s there. Horrible customer service, the one person who was actually trying to help kept getting shut down by the manager

I visited the Nespresso boutique today to purchase a sleeve of coffee. Buying Nespresso is a treat for me, so I don’t buy many sleeves at once. After I was finished telling the cashier my order of one sleeve, he commented in an extremely condescending voice “you came all this way and you’re only purchasing one pack, one pack of coffee??”. I was stunned, as he was very rude. I said yes and he rang me through. He then said in a condescending voice again, your grand total is $9.25, nine whole dollars. I paid and left. Worst customer service. This experience makes me not want to purchase any more Nespresso capsules again. Any customer service rep of a store should be pleased with any purchase. Making rude remarks about the quantity being purchased is not acceptable.

No you’re not truly sorry. If there is no other location in Halifax, I might have to switch to another product.As I was walking around the mall, thought I’d check Nespresso. I had hundreds of cups while I was visiting my brother in UAE. I thought I would check the prices to plan things, I’m not an impulsive buyer. I saw few people inside the thing, not employees and a long line up, just wanted to take a peak to at least know which one to check out and that’s when I got yelled at by the BOSS “ the line is on the other side”. All I said was ok, I’m sorry. But I’m not waiting on that line just to check a model and a price. I know you’re busy and trying to keep things in order. I suggest keep a sign with models and prices and offers and whatever you want people to know, if you want people to know .I don’t take rating lightly. I had a business myself, but even my wife and son, who are more tolerant to other people’s behaviour than me thought that I was screamed at. The first review I saw was that the product was good but customer service not so, and that’s exactly what I was gonna say, and the reply of the owner was “sorry”.! You just did it again.

Good product, with the worst customer service I have experienced. The machine does not have that long of a life cycle it seems, and after being promised a new machine by two different support agents without trouble shooting, they keep forcing troubleshooting on me, although as it is clear by my record, it only fixes the machine for a short time (2-3 days) and I have to call back again and again.. not sure why the company is not willing to provide me a long term solution and keep me as a $500-$600/year customer, but I guess that was their business decision. I will be getting my coffee elsewhere moving forward.. it's a shame a fairly good product is let down by poor machine longevity, coupled with even worse customer service grounded in fake promises.

I have been to this location twice with two of my friends that have a nespresso machine, and after the second visit I had to purchase one as well! Their customer service is amazing. They are helpful, friendly and super patient! They also have a great recycling program which I love and I can't wait to try out my new machine!
