Awesome experience with Kate today. She was so patient and helped me pick the best colour to match the pink tone I was looking for my french. Will be coming back to see her.

They don’t know how to do nails. They absolutely destroyed my nails and the lady doing them didn’t even give me a shape. I asked her to not cut them so short, they were shorter than EVER!!! I’m absolutely devastated because I looked forward to doing my nails but instead I was left with a disaster!!!!

Wrote a review on how harsh and unsanitary this business was and my friend I’s number were both blocked. pretty unprofessional if you ask me. And my nails lasted a week before they fell off so the application was terrible.

I was recommended by relatives and friends to come here, and I decided to try it out. The first time I came, Michelle did my nails and I really liked them. Today, however, I had a very negative experience. As a result, I don’t know if I will be able to return after the treatment I received from one of the staff members (I believe her name is Annie) and after my very poorly done nails.I only had two requests, I simply asked her to shape my nails (almond shape) I even showed a photo, and to do an ombré design. 1) She could not correctly shape my nails. They were crooked, uneven and the wrong shape. 2) She did not properly do my nail design and it wasn’t until the very end that I could see my results… And realize she did them wrong. Unhappy with my results, I turned to another woman working there for help, and she translated and explained what I wanted. The woman doing my nails became frustrated after hearing my feedback, despite me being very calm and patient with her. She then shoved her tools away from her station, grabbed my hands aggressively without asking, and began removing them and “fixing them”. Additionally, she cut my pinky finger which is still stinging. The entire time from when I walked in she was rushed, rude, hostile, unfriendly and was unable to grasp what I wanted. It was clear she was not proficient at her job. The staff told me I could return tomorrow and have them redone, but I don’t want to go through that again (understandably so). I walked out with uneven and unpleasant looking nails. That said, I was most disappointed and shocked by the rudeness and inappropriate behaviour exhibited. It would have been fair to offer me a refund, or at the very least an apology.

I love this salon. Michelle is doing an amazing job. They all are, in fact. Their prices are reasonable, and quality is always great.

This is brea, not ava. I have been coming here for awhile and michelle is amazing, however, I get a short coffin and i’m upcharged, the price is never the same. It is also very unsanitary which isn’t safe. I have gotten multiple cuts from getting my nails done here. I never write bad reviews but i had to.

Absolutely love Michelle. She has been doing my nails for I think a couple of years now. She always have a cute design in mind and listens to what I want to do. We have moved from the area but I still drive back to see her.Ps. Please don't mind on the picture it's grown out, not freshly done. But the design is still looking fabulous :)

I got my nails done today at JV nails . I had gel nails on , I wanted them removed and I wanted to do shellac on my natural nails . The girl cut my nails super short without asking me . Another girl did the shellac Super quick, didn’t paint around the tips so that it lasts longer . She then applied cuticle oil on and didn’t even rub it in or massage my hands ( which I always get at any salon ) she said rub the oil you’re done . Will not return

Went for a pedicure a few weeks ago with a friend. The woman who did my friends pedicure took her time and did not rush. The tech who did mine started 15 minutes after my friend’s pedicure started and rushed the process (my pedicure ended up being done before my friend’s was.) Not only was this upsetting but due to the tech rushing, she cut my toenails shorter than I knew they could go (half way down my nail bed) and now I am battling an extremely infected ingrown toenail. Extremely disappointing.

I had the best French manicure at JV Nails & Spa, than I think I have ever had in my life! Sue's attention to detail was incredible and my nails look spectacular. She listened to everything I was wanting (length, shape, etc.), and constantly checked with me to see how I was doing (I'm not very chatty when I am getting my nails done). I will definitely be back to see Sue for all of my future French manicures.
