Lovely Federal Campground. The beaches are abundant, trails groomed. Walk, bike, I'm sure wheelchair accessible too. There is a laundry mat on site.

Excellent campground with very good amenities. Cavendish Beach is beautiful. There's a nice 6 km cycling trail in forest and by farm land.

We love Parks Canada, but this wasn't what we typically experience. Stayed in area C. Our site was dirty when we arrived. It had one very large and very dead tree that just wasn't safe to tent near. Bathrooms stayed very dirty our whole stay and were just generally not maintained, all the soap dispensers are fully broken (though they do have soap in them if you can manage to find a way to get it out). The only garbages in this whole area are the bathroom garbages, which is not ideal in a windy large park. Beach is of course beautiful! Lots of birds.

Beware when booking that the pictures of the campsites are not what you get. Tropical storm Fiona took out most of the evergreens so there is no privacy at the sites, at all. No dogs allowed anywhere on the beach (which is the main reason we booked - to use beach). We ultimately ended up canceling our booking for the rest of our stay because it was so disappointing

All the trees are dead and falling. But instead of cutting down everything and planting new saplings they are opening the campground and leaving it to look like a post apocalyptic zone. The actual sites have no shade or privacy anymore and are not maintained what so ever. They are leaving the grass long and not trimming down where it needs. The people around weren’t as friendly as usual either and just ignored us, we only had one kind set of neighbours but that was it but even they said the campsite was ugly and left days early. The beach is always nice but also needs work since some of it was eroded during the last storm. The bathrooms aren’t all currently open in July, but the ones that are were fairly clean. Also It’s only kids working at the park?they also ran around on a lawn mower but never actually cut any grass? The park needs to close down for a year or two and replant- fix and just start fresh. They will get many negative reviews this year im sure of it.

The parks looks nothing like it use to since Hurricane Fiona destroy it. There are no large evergreens, and the site looks like a clear cut; they seriously need to start planting new evergreens. We arrived an hour early and the attended wouldn't let us into our site. I told her the site was empty and clean and there was no logical reason to make us wait an hour; we had to get the supervisor involved. It was noisy with a church group singing at 7am and the staff seemed completely useless at keeping things quiet.

A really nice camping ground! The campground my boyfriend and I had was near the beach, and hearing the sound of the waves every morning was fantastic! The bathroom and the laundry are immaculate, and we were amazed about it!The reason I took a star off is because the campgrounds are too close to each other, and you have NO PRIVACY! No tree between campground, no nothing!

Nice federal campground with power & water services. Free showers with hot water but small and only 2 stalls in the building with lights burned out (don'tgo after 9 pm). There is a laundry but missing most of the washers so unless you have the day to waste waiting, don't bother & go to the village laundry. Two paths to the beach which was sandy and nice.

This campground was also very nice and clean. The best thing about this was that it was right in front of Cavendish Beach. Best place to see sunrise and sunset both. We had enjoyed the beautiful sunset here, photo is also attached. We would visit this place again. Washroom and shower facilities were available.

Ocean front camping. Plenty of places to pull in a ebike. Kids will love the playground. Heck there is even yoga during the summer. On of the best bike rides is also right here. Trail starts by the registration building.
