Dollar Mart

This shop is a gem. It's one-quarter the size of Dollarama with twice the merchandise. You can find products here that are not available on Walmart or Amazon. Bonus: excellent customer service. I returned a calculator that was not working and they quickly exchanged it. They know their inventory and exactly where everything is. You can't find that kind of service at Dollarama.

Great little store with tones of neat finds that you can’t get anywhere else. My only downside is I think some things are priced more than they’re actually worth, or you may be able to find cheaper at Dollarama however, Still a lovely store overall.Great selection of Helium Balloons! They’re my go to spot for special occasions.

They pushed a product stating this will work. But later it did not work. When I went back asking for help, they said no returns or exchanges for the sold goods. I should not have trusted them. Cunning people. Do not go here.

Employees always seem friendly, and prices are reasonable. They've got a few products I haven't seen at Dollarama or Dollar Tree - I've gone a couple times for metallic acrylic paints not carried by the other two places.

I bought a fake security camera and tested at home and called them back that it was not working. The guy wasted 20 min of my time to show it was working. But in fact it was working on and off. Now that I wanted to use it, I see it was not working again... Everything is very expensive when compared to similar stores. If you are looking for half price of items compared to this store just check on your dollar store with more" in Bridgeport waterloo for example."

Just wanted to recognize and say thank you to the woman working at Dollar Mart today (maybe the owner?). A senior woman fell at the front door and her friend (about the same age) wasn't able to help her up. She came right out to help and between us (I was walking up when I saw it all) we were able to get her safely up. She brought her out a chair to sit in, a bottle of water, offered to call 911 or anyone else, and then called a cab which is what the ladies were waiting on with their groceries. After sitting with some water the woman said she felt much better and the heat had made her lightheaded. So nice to know there are still kind and considerate people like those working at Dollar Mart, helping others in need! Thank you for being such a good person. :-)

My husband spent 15$ on a number helium balloon that had a hole in it and was deflated by the time we brought home.

I had been coming here for a while; but no longer. After getting balloons for my dads birthday, it popped one minute into our car ride. I came back hoping they’d replace it, as I made it one street away. They refused and were adamant that I was in the wrong and must’ve done something. I was a customer for 6 years, officially lost. Please avoid and go to Dollar Tree instead. Better prices and they’ll honour a popped balloon 30 seconds after leaving the store.

This place has a lot of little things that together would cost a fair amount at other stores. I was able to get everything that I needed from wire to hang up paintings to levels, drywall anchors, light bulbs etc. The prices are excellent and the staff is kind and courteous. I always go here first if I need something for around the house. I recommend you do the same!

I got some balloons filled with helium here, and the staff were very kind and friendly! The balloons looked beautiful as well.
