Canada Post

To make it clear to everybody whose complaining about their current open hours. As a resident of Hope at the time of this review, the reason why they are so understaffed is due to people not wanting to work. Not because they can't hire more people. They have been searching for people who will undergo training and do the work and so far have been completely unsuccessful. So next time you go into the office here in Hope try not to put the blame on the ladies working there, as they are doing the best with what they have which includes the following.-Buggy technology that should be replaced or repaired but hasn't been. Including their tills and scanners.-Next to nobody willing to undergo the necessary training to actually get the job making new workers difficult to come by.Yet with all of that, the workers there are kind and understanding people who will gladly do their best to serve you and get your packages through. I've only ever lost one package and that was due to an error in the system, not by any postage workers part. Good service and very kind folks.

Excellent service, fast and friendly. Always great staff to deal with.

I've try delivery things at this canada post but it just doesn't work, I cannot event call them to know what's going on cause they don't have a phone number, really disappointed...

I am very disappointed with the current hours, I completely understand everyone is understaffed right now but could they not at least have one 1-5 day or do Tuesday to Saturday? Monday to Friday 10-2 is impossible for anyone that works a full time job, especially not in the same City. I actually have to take a day off work to pick up a package tomorrow before they send it back on the 12th. I would call and ask if I can have someone pick it up for me or if it can be shipped to another location but they don't have a direct number and Canada Post can only create me a ticket where someone should" call in 5 business days."

I would have gave -1star but i couldn’t, they held on my package and refused to give it to me, all the other packages made it to my p’ace but they decide this one wouldn’t. the service is so lame and the way they manage regulations is pathetic. Plz shut this place down.

Always good service and a little bit busy, but thats not they're fault. We just need more workers and it would literally would be 6/5

I don’t understand how a federally run faction of the government can be understaffed? What are my tax dollars going towards? RCMP enforcement at old growth logging sites…. But I can’t go pick up or send any mail because the post office is short staffed?!? Hire more staff!!! I’m sure there is a line up of people willing to work. What a joke, horrible management .

They should close this branch. Long history of terrible service with lazy workers. Went in today at 3 PM, but they were closed. Canada Post website says M-F 8:30 AM - 5 PM. Can't call the branch to confirm anything because they no longer have a phone. Received email from Canada Post saying package ready for pick up. Paper note on door stated all items received today have not been processed". Won't be made a fool or believe anything from Canada Post ever again as I will never use them again. Many other choices these days who actually provide services and run a business without excuses."

Packages can come from all over(Canada and US) to the exact same address on all pugs designated to us from the post office, and when Canada Post Hope 'scans' ( ridiculously fast waving the scanner without success) then they deem it undeliverable!Every other party knows where it is going and they have no problems making it to Hope. Street address as they have instructed is present, box number (use B instead of Box" they said) so B#### is labeled

The system hope has is horrible. You're forced to pick up from a post box that's only accessible within set working hours, and if you have a package you need to pick it up at the desk within even more restrictive hours.Normal people working out of town are completely out of luck and have no options.My last po box had a large box they put packages in and put the key in your box so you could pick it up yourself. And it was accessible 24/7 not this Monday to Friday work hours garbage.
