January 25th 2023 - fairly big snow storm. Overheard 2 staff asking each other if the snow outside should be shovelled to clear the walk. One replied to the other - ‘let them fall’… ‘Them’I assume are the patrons, including me. Good attitude. So, we pay for the privlege to shop at this store, only to overhear this garbage?

I am writing this review to bring to your attention a concerning experience that my family and I recently had at this store. My mother is a regular customer of your pharmacy and has been prescribed medications for her memory issues.Unfortunately, we have had a very negative experience with this pharmacy staff that has left us feeling extremely disappointed and concerned about patient safety.On several occasions, we have noticed a lack of clear communication from their staff regarding my mother's medications. They have failed to communicate this medication dosage issue with me and simply decided not to send a prescription or her medication without even a simple phone call.Thankfully, I manage her medication and remember to call repeatedly to reach the pharmacy staff. This is incredibly dangerous. Imagine, for a minute, memory meds simply not getting sent for weeks, and the pharmacy not reminding a patient who had been prescribed memory mediation. This is severe neglect.We believe that this lack of clear communication and attention to patient safety is unacceptable and puts your customers' health at risk. We urge customers to review their medications.Furthermore, I kindly request that you, all patients and their families, review your loved ones' medications and not let this sloppy pharmacy put people in danger.

Never, ever, not even once have I ever been able to walk in and just pick up a prescription. At best: a 30 minute wait. At worst: come back tomorrow. I'd understand if this happened every so often, but I have literally never been able to walk in and out with a prescription with any kind of expediency. This has been going on for years now. Currently I am waiting 20 minutes in the parking lot for a perscription to be ready after waiting in line for 20 minutes AFTER coming her yesterday, waiting 45 minutes and being told they don't have it. This is by far the worst running pharmacy I have ever seen.

The staff is way too concerned with people who look like they might be stealing. Which is straight up racist and discriminatory. I came in with a friend of mine who is Afrocentric and they followed us around the store the whole time. Yet when I went back in alone an hour later, a white presenting woman, no one watched me. Nasty.

The store is clean and the self checkout area moved pretty efficiently. I did notice that not every kiosk/booth is wiped down for each new user, which could be a point for improvement.3/5 on this: the shelves seemed to miss quite a few items, I’m not sure if that’s from slow replacement or from being out of stock. Pictures below.Still, the overall selection of items is good (I haven’t seen Sebamed in any stores for a long time but they had some in this location). Having a grocery area and post office is also quite convenient.

We have been filling our family prescriptions at this location for too long. They need a better system and staff that have a clue. It’s time to move. There’s always an issue, even when we call it in. For example, can’t find an item on pickup, told to come back at a certain time, and still can’t find it. Nothing has change and we see the other upset customers in the line too.

My husband went to this pharmacy around 1:30 in the morning in need of gauze for my step-daughter, who had just came out of eye surgery earlier that week. We had unfortunately ran out and rushed to the store. Hafi was the pharmacist on duty and went above and beyond to help with our situation - and another matter. We can't thank him enough and Shoppers, you got an upstanding man working for you. Thank you!!

I always love to shop at Shoppers Drugmart. Collecting Optimum points is a lot of fun, especially if there's a 2 times the points event almost every week. This particular Shoppers location is very convenient. It has produce products and ready to eat food. Lots of parking and it's besides the cibc bank. Lots of different stores and restaurants in the area too.

Apparently things picked up as per pharmacy service for a few months now back to disastrous mix ups, waits. Being told yo pick up in half hour only to find our four hours later they forgot!!!Tha store is always poorly stocked since new ownership. Many items not available on the shelves awhereasother shopper's have these items. Dear Owner you make a lit of money from clients as a lot of seniors including my mom have been shopping here for years and the cashiers, other staff are awesome but pharmacy again is short. Shameful. Stock your shelves eith gluten free, lactose free edamame, diabetic, cat food variety Like before! I am trying to make you aware again!

ZERO STARS. I waited 58 minutes for the pharmacy to answer an important question about the availability of a drug through their store. 20 minutes of that was waiting for so-called customer service to help me to get through. It seems to be their policy not to answer the phone. Ever since this Shopper's D.M. was sold to a new owner, their service has been abysmal. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
