Ocean view takeout
It's a take out window with an Ocean View Deck. Excellent food, Large portions, excellent kids menu. Best Burgers I've had. I have eaten there 5 times and every time I go there. Veer Left, like you are going to the docks, it's just past the docks around the bend.

Stumbled on this awesome takeout with ocean view outdoor seating. A real hidden gem! Some of the best fish and chips Ive had since Bar Harbour Maine. Nice large portions also, well worth the trip to Deer Island.

We moved to the Island in 2019…yes, before the whole world went off the deep end…and every meal we have ordered from Oceanview Takeout has been AMAZING!!!Tonight we were up-sold into trying their NEW roast beef sandwich. They made a delicious roast, stuffed a ridiculous amount of beef into a fresh bun topped with lettuce, tomato and mustard. Simply perfect.We also ordered their lobster rolls, which are the best on the Island. I see they now offer a salad and some breakfast options. I will be back to try them tomorrow.

This place is all about location and the food is pretty decent too for the island. This particular dish is my guilty pleasure - it’s their Island Fries and it’s loaded with their queso sauce (i rarely ever eat cheese wiz but pretty sure this is it), real bacon, green onions, tomato, creama, etc and delicious crispy fries like the Costco ones. The rest of the menu looks great but darn it - i keep getting these fries. Pro tip : Order ahead.Crossing this little boat ramp to the tiny island in front of the restaurant is a great place to munch your food and watch the seal activity. No garbage there so clean up after yourself. I often bring an extra bag as there’s sometimes litter there from other users and I like the leave it cleaner than I found it. Regardless, this place is great!

We prefer our fish to be beer battered and crispy and this was more breaded and soft. If sure some prefer it that way though. Onion rings where good tho. Whole tipping situation was awkward also, but really nice views to be had while ya eat.
