Ordered takeout and got really large portions for the C7 combination platters. Flavour was great and service was excellent. Like many other small Chinese restaurants, Empress appears to have fallen on hard times, evidenced by their dated interior. The reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do not have dine-in available. The chairs and tables were blocked by caution tape strung across. I still like to support small businesses like these, especially because they did their very best by making us such generous portions of amazing food.

Classic American Chinese food. Portions are nice and price is very reasonable.Never had any issue w customer service or issues w the order. Consistent quality.Very reliable place for Chinese take out.

Ordered takeout for my family. The food was amazing, probably the best Chinese food we’ve had so far in Hamilton. This is our go to place for Chinese takeout. I highly recommend the deep fried shrimp with sweet and sour sauce. The house fried rice was also very good.

Great value! Their breaded chicken with sweet and sour sauce was not greasy which I appreciated. Deep fried creeds and crab wontons were also spectacular.

I usually order takeout once a week from here....this time I ordered sweet and sour chicken...i got chicken balls...with no sign of sweet/sour....and my eggs rolls were way too overdone...2 more seconds would have been burnt....always been quite satisfied before now. Very disappointed

WORST, food every on May 26, rice, sesame chicken, egg rolls. had to throw it out. Waste of money. Got take out many times over the years, was hot, good, worth the money. Would recommend it. Now within the last month, we have ordered 3 times, each time it got worse. I do not know what happened but the taste, quality, flavor is gone. Waste of money. We were a long time customer. Not now. We will not return, suggest you do not either.
