First, the prices are extremely competitive but, in all honesty, it isn't just the pricing that sets Excavation Stephane Normand apart from its competitors. Stephane is an extremely knowledgeable contractor that takes the time to explain to you every step of the construction work. He goes above and beyond, contacting the other trades, takes leadership with scheduling, and most importantly he will let you know how and where you can save money, will make sure that your foundation work is up to par. He even took the initiative, out of the kindness of his heart, to repair the road leading to the new construction every time the trucks made gigantic sink holes in it. He answered every phone call, every text, he even came twice to our current residence to explain to us things that didn't even have to do with his work. He even cut the trees for our hydro line (just because I had mentioned that it needed to be done). He is meticulous in his work, makes sure that nothing is forgotten, uses the best material, and is all around a wonderful human being. I would not hesitate one second in recommending him.
