Communication within the company is very poor. Called to have service disconnected. Was told no payment had been received for a few months and was told someone would contact us as we told them that we hadn't yet received. Apparently, the emails were being sent directly to junk mail. If a customer is saying they aren't receiving a bill, and a company is sending it, why would you continue to use the same method to contact???? This company has access to us via phone and home mailing address.Arrangements were made over the phone for someone to come up and disconnect the system. No one showed up. Called again to remind them we were leaving and the equipment needed to be picked up. Again no one showed up.When we came across the email in our junk folder, we promptly called the accounting department to rectify the situation only to be treated rudely by the accounting person making it sound like we were intentionally attempting to skip out on paying them (which we have never done to any company we have ever dealt with)!

My family and I are grateful to have Internet service at Conestoga Lake. We've been using the service for the past 8 years and has only got better. Reliability and speed are excellent. It would be perfect if we never had hydro outages.For a company that provides Internet service where the other big companies don't, I give it to them.

I arrived at work where we have two clearly marked and reserved charging stations for electric cars. A Megawire dodge caravan, #15 was parked in one of the two spots. The other spot was taken by another car charging, leaving me no ability to charge, even though I needed it. This is absolutely inconsiderate, disrespectful and discourteous. It's not the first time they have been illegally parked at this location. Workers are too lazy to find a parking spot.

Our internet is slow as a snail normally getting 0.03 MBps when paying for 3 we pay for. We have called countless times to support to help us and a guy came and said we need a stronger satellite dish and would get somebody to call us and install a new one. Never came or heard from them after 6 months. Terrible service.

We're paying $119/month for 20 MBPS and we are getting about 10-12 maximum in the evenings. It regularly drops dips to 6 MBPS and sometimes 2.5.Here is an update: In Bloomingdale the service is awful. Between 4:00pm and 10:00pm the speeds drop to 2.5MBPS.Their customer service is prompt but it goes like this the next day at 10am:Hi there,Thank you for your support request. We will need to investigate this further. At this moment we are able to push the full speeds from our core site to your antenna. This could be an intermittent issue or only something that happens in the evenings. Either way, we will monitor to locate the issue and go from there. Please let us know of any questions or concerns in the meantime.Regards,Waterloo WirelessJust so you know, this goes on and on. Regularly every 1-2 weeks it slows right back down, unbearably slow to the point of disconnects.

We're former customers of Megawire. They've changed their name to Waterloo Wireless, likely to try to shed some of their horrible reputation.Their service was terrible. The internet worked poorly and customer service was a joke. We left them for a competitor (Netflash) 6-12 months ago and have been very pleased.Yesterday Megawire/Waterloo Wireless sent a technician out to our farm, despite the fact that we haven't been customers for 6-12 months. The technician didn't make an appointment, didn't knock on the door or ring the bell, just made himself at home and started working on our internet system. Apparently they'd gotten the address wrong and had an accidental work order. Unsurprisingly, they messed up our network and internet connection.I can understand that mistakes happen and you could have a work order error. The bigger problem was that they didn't have the general courtesy to knock on the door when they arrived. If they'd done so, the entire problem could have been avoided when we pointed out that the work order was a mistake.When I called Megawire/Waterloo wireless for support, they said the technician would be back at 3 to help correct the system. I called again around 5 to ask where he was and was told he was on his way. When I called at 6 they said actually

We often have slow service, and sometimes (like now), no service. They’ve told us there aren’t enough customers in our area to justify investing in a better transmitter. Suggestion: if you’re going to service an area, service it WELL. And given their low average score here, they clearly don’t care much.

I have very little complaints about their customer service or response time.....but, it has been very unreliable, going from hero, to zero overnight. The cost vs the provided advertised speed, has never been realized. Thankfully, I have sufficient data on my phone, so when the system fails, I can still communicate by email. Otherwise long phone times would be the result. I give them 3 stars, because their staff is trying hard, if I had to rate their management, who was probably aware of the hardware shortcomings long ago, they would get a zero. Being an old Union guy, who warned management of upcoming problems, and the bean counters get involved, those idiots deserve the blame, not the people we speak to on the phone.

Recently had a number of internet issues and tech troubles and Matt came over and solved all the problems. These guys are the best. Polite, competent, knowledgeable and reasonably priced and another great thing is that they do everything. They're your one stop IT service and I love them.

The Comcast of Canada. Providing some of the slowest speeds possible at high prices, and getting away with it. The fact that I'm writing this review from my phone on mobile data should give you a hint on their service. Almost never have Internet connection, and if I ever do it goes out in a minute. The only time you'll be able to actually do something is late at night or in the morning. It's honestly shameful how bad their service is. I've missed 2 homework assignments and other important things as well. If they use high traffic as an excuse (which is what I usually get when I call) then they should probably upgrade their services.Seriously guys, let me do my homework already.
