This is an amazing hospital charity for one of the best children's hospitals in the world. Amazing staff and patients. Please give generously!

I've always had a very positive view of sick kids until speaking to friends who have worked there. Not including PhD students, the full time staff's research at sick kids is embarrassingly inefficient. Nobody seems to actually care about conducting quality research or getting anything done but just wants to get grants/donations and collect their paycheque. It's a toxic work environment full of condescension and lacking mutual respect. How it has the reputation it does is beyond me.Also, it's 2023. Pay your interns. It's unacceptable to expect a doctor, dietitian, or nursing student to work for free when they need to pay for food and shelter. This is a massive barrier for students.

We have been going with our son to Sick Kids Hospital since the year he was born (2005). He had multiply surgeries, ER visits, tests, exams, procedures, clinic appointments and hospital stays. I have nothing but praise, sincere thanks and gratitude towards all the staff including the medical team, doctors, nurses, lab technicians, volunteers and financial donors who make up the Sick Kids Team. My son is transitioning to adult hospital soon and I know they will continue to be top ranking children's hospital in the world

Amazing place. We were lucky to be treated at this hospital. All the staff was nice and knowledgeable. The care and treatment is at the heights level. My daughter felt like she was in a 5star hotel.

We waited for eight and half hours and doctor didn’t even come to see my daughter who was crying of pain. Very irresponsible staff. Irresponsible management. They don’t even answer your questions. Rude staff

Amazing hospital, outstanding staff. Hopefully you don’t need to take your kid there but if you do just think they are in the best health care facility.

Stayed here overnight for several days a couple times for a friend’s surgery (he is an adult but had been going to sickkids his whole life and was finishing up his care with some final procedures here). Overall good experience, nurses are all kind and patient, with some really going above and beyond. There are some doctors who really don’t have the people skills necessary to work in healthcare, or at least face to face with patients, let alone with children unfortunately. Empathy, patience, and respect are 3 things you would want from all healthcare professionals! Unfortunately one of the anesthesiologist fellows and a surgeon who used to work there were not very empathetic or patient. But this doesn’t quite overshadow the overwhelmingly positive experiences we had with the nurses and all other doctors, or the skills of the doctors in general! It does not go unnoticed when a healthcare professional is patient and empathetic, though (and vice versa). Food is alright, actually pretty good number of options for a hospital! and the beds in the overnight rooms / observation rooms aren’t the most comfy… but that is to be expected.

The guys are doing great job but it's a shame that in Canada people are collecting donations for sick kids!!! What the hell the government is doing with my tax money??? The first priority I have for my taxes are to be spent on sick kids in Canada!!!!! Wake up!!!! Do not send even one penny overseas while there are sick kids in Canada who needs help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
