Shoppers Drug Mart

Quite frankly, I was really surprised to see the low rating for this Shoppers. I’ve been coming to this locations for about 5 years now, and have never noticed any bad service. The cosmetics department is the area I spend the most time in and they’re always really kind and helpful.⚠️Warning ⚠️ do not buy any cosmetics that don’t come with a seal. I’ve heard horror stories that clients open those and try them on as though they are samples.

Went in with my son who was having sudden really bad coughing fits. Wanted to ask pharmacist about different medications. Pharmacist just pointed to cough medication aisle. If there was a way to show less empathy and caring by a person I do not know how. The only thing customers/patients are is a nuisance to this place. No wonder they are 2 stars, and trying hard to get to one star apparently.

The ladies in the cosmetic section as well as the pharmacy staff are great! I’m here a few times a week and they know me, call me by name and have all been very friendly. I don’t agree with / understand any negative reviews. Some customers are impossible to please or go in with a bad attitude, but I’ve been going here for years and never had a problem. Everyone has been great!

If there was a way to put less than 1 star I would have. The front store is great but the pharmacy is always a mess. Good luck getting an advice or some help. You will only hear: call your doctor or if you want more information they will offer to transfer your RX to another store! Not impressed at all! I understand that they are a busy location and maybe understaffed, but that should be an issue for management to look into and not a price for the patient to pay.

Have I mentioned this is the worst pharmacy ever! Nobody ever seems to know what they are doing…customers are always upset.:.long wait lines…there has got to be a batter way!Here I am at shoppers pharmacy again. Huge line, one customer being sever for 15 minutes now. No staff to help and no one seems to care. Could we explore how innovation could help create a better customer experience. Perhaps adding a rapid lane for customers with no questions and refills. Thanks for considering shoppers.

The regular store is fantastic. Employees greatBut the pharmacy has a tendency to forget about you even on a slow day I've dropped off a prescription on several occasions told to wait either 15 or 45 minutes then when that time was done told to wait again at least 2 more time. I've ended up waiting in that parking lot for 2 hours more than once, some people might wonder why I wouldn't drop it and leave I've done that too dropped off 10 am only to go back later at night to be told it wasn't done and I'd have to come back the next day. It's unfortunate cause it's not the pharmacy as a whole just a few people working there. I'm not the only person with this issue for sure as people I know have also complained about it.

Do you feel like waiting excessively for your prescription?Do you feel like being told it will be 1 hour and showing back up 4hrs later and it still has yet to be filled?This pharmacy is an absolute joke.Last 10 prescriptions, not one single one ready.

Bad customer service from last night’s visit.I didn’t have my debit card on me at the time therefore I had no choice but to use cash.The cashier who unfortunately wasn’t wearing her name tag otherwise I would have stated her name.A customer in front of me dropped off a basket full of merchandise and left to his car.I only had one item while having to wait for a long time just because this cashier refused to cash me out saying that she was waiting for that other customer to return.All this cashier had to do was void that transaction.To top things off she was extremely rude about this incident.The date was February 08, 2023The exact time was 10:18 PM

I am a visible minority and I'm therefore very aware of when I am being followed around the store as though I am going to steal something.The Eastern European cosmetics sales woman came out of her department and stood at the end of the aisle and watched me until I picked my final item and headed towards the registers.When I verbalize this to the mail cashier, I said to him I don't appreciate being watched as though I'm going to steal something, and will not be shopping at the store again. Instead of saying something to the nature of, I'm sorry that anyone made you feel this way. He simply said that is your choice.It appears as though based on the two-star rating of this location, that I am not alone in my absolutely disappointing experience in the store.Shame Shoppers Drug Mart. Maybe the staff are in need of some BIPOC or cultural training.

Extremely poor customer service. Pharmacists gossiping about someone instead of helping customers. I overheard pretty dumb conversation about someone they gossip about. Really unprofessional behaviour. I aired for 5 min and left without being noticed.Now when I see star rating here all makes more sense. I guess management doesn’t care about good customer service!Pharmacist I was waiting for is a lady with longer bright hair and glasses.
