Eves Provincial Park
This park is so poorly maintained that the creekside trails are dangerous to navigate on foot. I’ve reported the conditions to the non-profit society that pays for the caretaker to look after the trails. The photo included was taken in 2001.

A hidden treasure. This park is quite small, and not well signed but it's well worth the short drive off the highway. There is a good map in the parking lot. One trail is along a small section of very peaceful, shady and cool ancient forest that follows a small creek. While it's great to hear the water I think the views are best when you go down the staircase and follow along slightly above the creek. We've tried the lower creek trail but prefer the high one.

A nice small nature park. No bikes allowed and there’s no playground but there are nice trails and some of the oldest trees (300+ yo) you can find in this area.

Lovely little park with tables, seating and numerous trails. Very quiet, enjoyed the stroll through the park tremendously. A little trouble finding it. Signage could be better.

Never heard of this place but thanks to a quick Google search come to find out we were only 5 minutes away ! This was a great little walk with plenty of quick elevation changes and plenty to look at ! We brought our dogs and loved it too ! highly recommended ! Oh and we had the park to ourselves !

Eves Provincial Park is a hidden little gem off Westholme Road in the Cowichan Valley. It is a serene little park that offers a little bit of everything that this region has to offer in the forest.I like coming here as it is always quiet and very few visitors. The trails don’t take long to walk around and provide a nice quick get away. The park is an ecological site that was donated to BC Parks. It has Giant Old Growth Cedars and Douglas firs as well as Giant Leaf Maples and Arbutus trees. There is also a historical sign and interpretive spot talking about the old railroad that ran there for Mt Sicker and taking ore from the Lenora mine to Crofton. The park has a picnic shelter and learning center but not sure if there are public events here or just used by the schools in the area. The trails do have informative signage and well marked trails to do your own educational loop.Don’t forget to explore the large mossy bluffs and the old cave too, this is a treat for kids.

Yes - this place is a gem. The turn in is a bit hidden/ abrupt, so take it easy with google maps. So worth the journey in :)

Excellent little provincial park hidden away in the trees. It has everything you could need, a study centre, toilets, trails, trees, talking points. I was especially delighted to find a recreated section of narrow gauge railway and a board explaining the history of a mining railway that passes through the area on the way from a copper mine on the way to Crofton. It had pictures and the backstory and was a nice explained with just the right amount of detail. The signage is only in English. There is motor-vehicle parking, didn't note any cycle parking. Not sure how accessible the site is for most mobility aid users.

Very lovely park, alot of cool things to check out. They have many nature informative posts throughout the park, they have a picnic area, as well as a nature center, orchid in the warmer months. There is a neat little cave to check out. This is a dog on leash park, pit toilets available. Care taker lives on site. Enjoy your visit !
