First timer to scotia curry.. myself and my son..never have I felt so comfortable in a restaurant the owner is such an incredible person to chat with .. so thoughtful and kind.. sent samples to try with our food which I must say was delicious.. we had chicken samosas for an appetizer..so good..my son had the chicken tandoori.. ( full size) and loved it I had the chicken biriyani.. both meals were so delicious..the waitress Sam was also great!! We will be back

Not a fancy place to eat but the food is pretty amazing. We ate lunch there and impressed with what they offered and how good the food taste. Will definitely go back. More street type food and those are by far the best. Glad we were introduced to this place, a bit out of the way for us but well worth the drive.

Food is savory, not as sweet as other Indian restaurants I've had in the past. The spicy level is accurate for their description. The resturant only opened 1 month ago ( as of jun-2022), so the decor looks newly converted. Don't let the look dissuade you, the food is worth the stop.

I have gone a few times and it was ok. Today I was very disappointed with the food. Cost $40 for an entree ( onion Baiji ) and the lunch special which was the butter chicken and rice with 2 very small naan bread that was hard as cardboard.Service is excellent and you are greeted with a smile but I will definitely Not be going back.

I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always even better each time!! Fantastic food. And if you like it spicy, they’ll make it spicy! We got the chicken vindaloo and some butter roti, along with Chicken wings(extra spicy) and some onion rings(also spicy) Onion rings were gone in 10 seconds lol so yummy, crunchy and so spicy! 11/10 Great people, even greater food! Highly recommend.

We have eaten Indian food in several countries and I kid you not, the best Indian food. PERIOD. It was such a surprise to find such authentic, high quality food in a relatively remote corner of NS. The spice is adjustable as you please. Do not miss this place!

I had a great experience dining in here. The chef and the owner came out to ask how the food was and had a great chat with us. The hospitality was great and we felt very welcomed. I like the community also. Its very peaceful and beautiful scenery.

Hidden gem. Easily made my “Top 3” Lifetime Indian Restaurants. Ample free parking and drive thru pickup for take out orders. Outdoor patio area for summer outdoor meals. Fantastic menu with very authentic Indian recipes and choices. Owner is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

The chef was amazing. I showed up a little before they opened and he invited me right in. The food came out quick and was so tasty. He was such a nice man and I had an amazing experience! I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Utterly delicious. I grew up in England where we take our curry very seriously and this was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The tandoori chicken is beautiful, the dhal is exceptional. Not to mention that the owner is a delight to deal with. So happy to have this in our community, and that is stays open through winter, they truly care about the local community!
