Staff is fantastic! Great dental experience, the atmosphere was calming.Pros: Lovely waiting area. My son loved the child's area and we had the opportunity to play electronic Tic-Tac-Toe & bowling.Cons: they don't direct bill and masks are still required.

From the nervous-wreck mother of a toddler (with a pretty severe cavity) who didn’t sleep the night before wondering what the appointment/procedure would entail:Dr. Koneru is a miracle worker. What an absolute gem of a human being. She approached my child while they were occupied in the playroom, and brought stickers to distract. In order to assess the cavity, she asked that I mimic our nightly brushing activities and would peek around inside unnoticed by the child as mouth was already wide open. Genius.She is so kind and reassuring, nonjudgemental and easygoing—as are her staff. I was instantly at ease.When the procedure actually began, she seemed to speak toddler language. With tools pinched between each of her fingers she nimbly and seamlessly completed the procedure—all while singing “wheels on the bus”. As unexpected things unfolded she worked around them with ease, a testament to her skill.What I was expecting: trying to bathe an alley cat, 10 people holding arms and legs, child’s volume on max, me hyperventilating in a corner.What actually happened: baby protested the snug, reclined, sleeping-bag position, but as Dr. Koneru cooed “we’re almost done, but we need to blow some more bubbles and finish my ABC’s” the child somehow accepted this as part of the day’s tasks and relaxed. I sat at feet, massaging them and reassuring. For most of the duration baby was alert but dazed, watching a favorite show, and asking if it was home-time.Absolutely shocking. Nothing like what I could have imagined. No screaming fits, no prolonged unshakeable crying. After a few hours the numbing wore down. The rest of the day was spent running around like absolutely nothing happened. No trauma. No lifelong fear of dentists. No pain. Totally surreal experience for a generally noncompliant 2.5 year old.11/10 would HIGHLY recommend.

The entire staff team are very helpful, knowledgeable and really engage children! The space was designed for children and is very welcoming and child friendly. Dr. Koneru and the team made both my 7 year old and myself feel at ease by taking the time to explain the process and answer any questions we had.

Dr.Koneru was amazing with my son. She made both my son and I feel at ease during the appointment. She made sure he was comfortable and always checking in with him to ensure he felt no pain. Dr.Koneru has excellent chair side manner, explaining all forms of treatment and options. She fit him in very quickly due to dental trauma from an accident. I am beyond grateful that she was able to provide dental care for my son.

Fees are 40% higher than anywhere else for no difference in treatment for my special needs child. They do not direct bill. Benefits that cover 90% were only able to cover just over 50% due the difference between fees and fee guide. The discussion regarding this with the office was also not helpful. We charge more because we are better trained". Ok... I would strongly suggest looking into the fees before accepting ANY services from this dental office. Will not use this dental office again."

Saskatoon pediatric dentistry is absolutely amazing. Two of my children have gone here and Dr. Koneru was so kind and so patient with both of them. The way she explains the process so it isn’t scary to them is super helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone with children who are fearful of the dentist. My kids have gone multiple times and have not shed a single tear. They’re both so proud of how brave they were and it’s definitely thanks to great staff.

(Audrey de Brou on my nephews account) my son did end up biting through his lip and creating a massive ulcer. I panicked and called the doctor at 9pm and she was so helpful. I even sent a pic and got a reply back. I think being able for that connection to happen easily on a Saturday at 9pm — amazing. Thank you everyone.

Dr. Konaru and her team are a blessing to our city. She has given such exceptional care to my daughter when others have found her to be too challenging.I am not sure how my daughter would have received her new front tooth after a fall from a seizure if it wasn’t for her. She was available and said bring her in right away and this was after hours of the clinic.As a mom it warms my heart when someone recognizes the special challenges of our children's needs and also recognizes it’s not easy for mom and dad that cares for them on a daily basis.I have never had a bad experience with this team and my daughter is 26 and has severe challenges. If are able to get an appointment, remember this is a doctor with a heart of gold and will go the extra mile for your family!
