The staff is courteous and professional. But the wait is crazy. My wife has an appointment for 9:10. We arrived on time and signed in. The top of the wait queue has been here since 8:30. It is now 9:25. My wife is so far down the list we can not see her name. What is the point of making an appointment?

Horrible staff and horrible customer service. No poiny of booking an appointment as you will still wait fpr at least 30-40 mins waiting your turn. Low on staff and no ome really cares!

This location has become an appointment only testing site since April2021, it can be booked online or over the phone. However, I did see them taking individuals in while not busy after taking care of the ones with appointments.Be prepared, have your care card, requisition paper, related documents ready as advised with all the notices and signs everywhere. Respect the rule and you will be respected.The staff are nice and professional, I never had any issue for the service received here since the beginning of last year.

Today I had my appointment at 12:55 I arrived 12:35 thinking I’ll be helped at the time of my appointment, it’s 1:19 I’m still waiting for them to call me in. This is really frustrating, why you book so many people at the same time? When I arrived this room was packed!!

I’ve been here thrice (with appointment) and in that, twice with my family. For all the three times, we thought that the staff is professional and respectful, but making us speak our phone numbers and addresses out loud is absolutely wrong. They should be more creative here and not making our confidential info being announced in public.Even though we did appointment we still waited more than 50 minutes. This is ridiculous. When I went alone, I waited one hour ten minutes even though for all times we reached ahead of our appointment time. So many people are complaining about this and all this lab has for an excuse is staff shortage. Really? So what are you doing about it? Is it not the lack of management and organizing skills?The nurses drawing blood are highly skilled and twice when they poked the needle didn’t even pain. My two little daughters who are extremely scared of needles were quite happy and satisfied with the experience here. I am sure they won’t be scared if they have to come here again for another needle poking. Kudos to nurses.Washrooms are clean. But they don’t have hand-tissues which is idiotic. I would like to dry my hands with a tissue and then use the tissue to open the door so my hands are clean, but then I am forced to use the toilet tissue roll that’s for pee-poop wipe. This was highly inconvenient.Overall, no matter how good the nurses are, the experience was sour and bitter as the wait time, announcing our confidential info out loud in the crowd and missing toilet tissues made the visit an unpleasant experience, not just once but thrice. (Which was 100%).

I came today for a blood work. Everything went well, no wait times at all. The receptionist and the nurse were very kind and respectful. The clinic is clean and organized. There’s a public parking at the back of the building, plenty of spots. I recommend this place. I know there’s a lot of bad reviews on Google but in my opinion that’s just because people think about writing a review only when they’re upset with something. Give it a chance, you might be lucky like me!

Sometimes the staff at this location make life unnecessarily difficult. I booked an appointment to pick up a FIT kit - yes you need an appointment. When I arrived they were running 30 minutes behind schedule and even though there was no one else behind me waiting to check in, they would not give me the kit. Customer service is severely lacking.I went to the location on 8th Avenue and a lovely lady took three minutes to take my care card, confirm my address and birthday and give me the kit.

I've come here for blood work about 5 times in the last few months. 4 out of 5 times I've had to wait 40+ minutes for my turn because they are often behind schedule. The one time that I didn't have to wait was a Monday morning.There is a paid parking lot beside the building. Usually I can get parking, but there was one day when it was very busy and stressful to find a spot.I had thought that going to a by-appointment LifeLabs would mean I would be in and out quicker, but in my experience, going to a walk-in LifeLabs has been much faster with wait times of 0-10 mins.Despite those complaints, I have found the staff to be efficient and professional.

Went in for blood test and ecg test on a Saturday morning. I had made the appointment online, showed up at the time and stood in line to check in. Reception was nice, staff were great, I was hesitant because of the poor reviews. The wait was much better than expected, just book online.One suggestion I would make to lifelabs is to give people the opportunity to have more privacy when confirming address and date of birth etc. Everyone in the room can hear the details.

Life labs overbooks this location - based on the other reviews this is obviously a recurring problem. I had an appointment today and had to wait more than an hour past my appointment time, but during my wait, the staff took SO MUCH abuse from other appointments that were waiting. People are understandably angry, but it seems awful that it's being taken out on the staff. I had blood drawn three times today and everyone I spoke with was kind and professional and did a wonderful job considering how rudely they were all treated by multiple patients.@Life Labs - do better with your booking system! I had a 2 hour glucose test that required 3 blood draws, but books a 5 minute appointment window like everyone else - perhaps you need to have some additional intake questions that prompts a 15 minute window to be booked to help the staff alleviate some of the delays/backlog in appointments.Demographics for this area are also likely different than for other locations - this should be taken into account when it comes to booking practices, but doesn't seem to be!Felt so unfair that the bigger problems at play with this location are frequently taken out on the staff there.
