Very pleased with the assessment and repair of my vehicle. The technician also found and repaired faulty work from recent work performed by another business. Had this been missed it could have been very costly in the near future. Will use “Mr. T” in Calgary for all my service needs in the future.

These guys were amazing. I had vehicle issues on my Grand Cherokee and was originally told by the dealership that my transmission was toast and needed to be replaced. Took it to Chris at Mr.transmission and after a week of having my vehicle and working endlessly trying to figure out the issue they deemed it was the spark plugs and had them replaced. Ever since then I have had 0 issues with my vehicle and they saved me from a pointless 11,000$ replacement that I didn't even need. Thanks so much again guys!

Over the past 4 or 5 months, my Pontiac Vibe has been having what appeared to be transmission issues. Periodically, the check engine lights would come on, the transmission would go into limp mode and only change up to 4th gear.I took it to GM for two diagnostics, and they could not pinpoint the issue. The error codes were pointing them towards a faulty PCM or solenoid 2 issues. I replaced the solenoid, and it didn't fix the problem. The lights were on continuously by now, and shifting was getting worse.I then took it to Mister Transmission in Calgary for a diagnostics. They were able to fit me in on short notice. They told me to prepare for an overnighter, as these transmission issues may be tricky to diagnose. Within a few hours of troubleshooting, they were able to find the issue and fixed it. As it turns out, it wasn't a transmission issue at all. There was a faulty wiring harness leading into the PCM that was the culprit.Lesson learned!In hindsight, I should have just taken it to Kris and his crew in the first place. They were great to deal with, and the price was so reasonable that I almost felt guilty paying it.This was my first time dealing with transmission problems. If I ever find myself in this position again, I know where to turn.These guys are professional, knowledgeable, thorough, and very reasonably priced. I would recommend them for not only transmission issues, but also for any other concerns that fall within their area of expertise.Kris, my hat is off to you!

Mr transmission are a great bunch of people who really care. They repaired my issue quickly, efficiently. And extremely reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

The experts in the city if you need transmission work. They quoted me a very reasonable price and found the most cost effective solution that included a good warranty on parts and labour.

Very difficult transmission rebuild on a classic 1996 BMW 850ci Kris had to call around the country for torque converter rebuilds. Rebuild solved all issues that were getting progressively worse in the past few years. Thank you! Will recommend your services to our 850 Club...Martin CyrSurrey, BC

Integrity, honesty and taking responsibility above and beyond the call of duty. I can’t emphasize enough what a pleasure it was to deal with Chris and Dawn. A year ago, my transmission was shot and needed to be replaced. It’s an unusual model and Chris had to shop the country to find me a deal on a replacement. The work was excellent and completed quickly. While that was wonderful that’s not the reason I’m writing. Due to a quirk by the vehicle manufacturer, the transmission broke loose of the frame 10 months later. I was travelling on Vancouver Island, far away from the shop, or any Mr Transmission, and I was stuck. I called the shop and Chris utilized his connections on the island to take care of the whole issue. It took a while because of parts and scheduling but Chris replaced the entire transmission at no cost to me. This was one of those situations where everything was more expensive than the original job, and there was some wiggle room for a disreputable shop to deny responsibility. Not only did Chris take care of everything but he was so reassuring and helpful along the way. Dawn and Chris are genuine and wonderful people and I am so grateful to have met them.

Zero star review. Took my suv in as it was having difficulty down shifting. Shop diagnosed it not to be transmission-related but cylinder misfires. Accepted their offer to do the non-transmission related repairs (change spark plugs) at a cost of $700. Problem was not solved and engine continued to misfire. I brought it back in to give them a chance to make it right". They did not apparently QC the original work

I have been using Mr Transmission service for quite a few years in Winnipeg never got disappointed now also visited Mr here in Calgary yes there was a little mistake made on my transmission service but it can happen anywhere to anyone. They stand behind their work fixed the issue and compensated me for my lost time. Definitely recommend this place for your vehicle needs. I have 2018 F150 10 speed .
