As a family member I have been accessing services at Compass Wealth for decades. I had experienced a chronic and persistent conflict of interest that I had vocalized to my advisor. My concerns were dismissed repeatedly and so as a result I had been attempting to relocate my accounts to another advisors portfolio to resolve the issues.As I took action to protect and preserve and maintain my accounts (as instructed to do so by legal consult) the advisor and the advisors son interrupted that process by taking action to move my accounts to a location I was unfamiliar with. I, the client, did not request this action to be taken and they did it with no regard for the further conflict they were creating.I am aware Steve was simply reacting out of spite after I had told him I was moving my accounts to another advisor. I believe their attempts to disrupt this process was intentional and further confirmed WHY I needed to move these accounts in the first place to a safe and secure advisor without the conflict of interest attached to my wealth building.The way they were unable to keep personal and professional matters separate has lead me to bring this up so others can be sure they are choosing the right advisors.The behind the scenes schematics are of major concern and seem to be escalating rapidly as Isaac attempts to take over the entire case load so Steve can retire. This transitional period has been ugly to say the least.When trying to address these concerns with the advisor in a professional client to advisor manner he refused to do so. He refused all communication and he continued to push his son onto the account matters which I had intentionally asked his son to stay away from my accounts as a result of his poor business ethics that had lead me to have no trust in his professionalism.Previously, I had supported their business operations at large. I want to make it very clear I no longer stand in support of this business. I think all who access their services should be informed so they can also be sure to make the right choices for themselves.I would never refer anyone to this establishment. Two men who can’t handle their personal/professional affairs are not men who can be trusted.
