Coast Chilliwack Hotel by APA

4.5 rating. Clean comfortable rooms, friendly staff, nice restaurant area and good size and temperature hot-tub/sauna. 1/2 star loss for the lack of signage informing reminder to shower upstairs in changing rooms before going through doors leading downstairs to pool area & also pillows are all too big & super puffy. Having one of each size (incl a flat) on a bed would be helpful.

My brother came to visit me in Chilliwack in April. He hadn't prebooked a room 0any where and we were having trouble finding him a decent room at reasonable cost. Everything was booked to expensive or a dump. Then I remembered that the Coast hotel was supposed to be redone under new management so we gave it a try what difference from what I remembered the place was clean and bright the staff were amazing they gave my brother a room at a great price. He enjoyed the hot and pool. When I joined him in the morning for a great breakfast they comped my meal. He was very pleased with his stay I will be recommending the coast hotel to any one I know Jim

Our stay at the Coast Hotel was amazingly wonderful. We were welcomed with friendly staff in every single department. The restaurant had great food and great service. We would highly recommend this hotel if you need to stay in Chilliwack.

Staff is super friendly, the room is nice and clean, very comfortable bed! Huge wall to wall window. The only issue I have with this hotel has nothing to do with the hotel.

We have stayed here before and had no problem at all we enjoyed our stay, but I will NEVER stay there again given my circumstances I am in need of booking a room and they will NOT acknowledge status rate because it is the last possible room available that is just absurd and not right at all in my opinion. What is the big deal, I just don't understand this and am very upset with the service, the lady I spoke to said it's a new rule as of 2 months ago.

Staff were excellent and everything was clean. We loved the paper cranes left after our room was cleaned. Thank you!4 stars because many of the amenities are dated and there has clearly been water damage (in the past), but cosmetically hasn’t been fixed yet, it’s an eye sore.Overall, would stay again. Also, the location is centrally located and close to lots of restaurants/activities.

Spent three nights here in late May 2023 for a work-related conference. Great room and service, no complaints there!Just a couple of suggestions for hotel management:- A wall clock, or two, in the fitness room would be great to have.- Sorry to say, but the chairs used in the conference rooms are horribly uncomfortable. Their odd semi-reclining design was awful for all-day sessions in the conference rooms. Something with more back support would be better, in my opinion.

Hotel was clean and room as well. Very friendly staff and they communicated through text messages as well which was nice. They responded to our inquiries super fast. Check in and check out was quick. We got a roll away bed as well for my daughter and worked out well. The room size was average with two double beds so a little small for four of us but we made it work. Washroom was updated but tub was a little dirty and the shower curtain had a slight smell. View was good and although we did not use the pool, it looked fine with a whirlpool and sauna. Hotel and rooms and hallways did NOT smell.

Smells like cigarette when I enter in the room, even though front desk said the room is non-smoking. There are 2 elevators but only one would take you to the pool, if the elevator arrives with no pool, you would need to go in and send it to another floor, then wait again for the other elevator to come up and hopefully you got the right one. EV parking is available, toilet with heated seat was nice.

Wow, beautiful experience on what was a pretty rough day. Check in was above and beyond. Greeted at 2 am by a bright, fully awake and very helpful person right at the desk. No waiting for someone to come out of a back room, which normally happens during late night check ins.Hot apple cider and gingerbread cookies in the lobby. She even gave us a plate to bring our snack to the room.Super clean, very comfortable beds. Breakfast for kings in the lobby dining room till 11:00 am. Pancakes, potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, granola and pastries..... outstanding.7 fully decorated Christmas trees in the lobby of various sizes and themes including a real tree with children's handmade ornaments.Fantastic experience.
