Calgary Skin Cancer Centre

I had quite extensive surgery on my forehead and Dr. Guillemaud had to go back in four times to clear all the cells. However, I felt no pain. The staff were extremely confident and friendly. They and the doctor kept me informed throughout, even showing me the slides indicating where the cancer remained. All followup appointments were very well handled and everything was on time. Excellent.

Dr. G and her team are fantastic. They make you feel comfortable and cared for, just amazing! Everyone you interact with carries the highest level of professionalism. Christina was excellent, I left the clinic feeling that I had just been given the best medical treatment possible. Thank you!

I had an appointment at 9, arrived at 8:45 and by 10 AM I was still waiting for someone to come in and give me a simple consult on a facial scar from a procedure I had done there some months ago, which did not want to heal.During that time they didn't even look at me, except once the receptionist stepped in after 40 minutes saying the doctor would be just a few minutes. Finally, I just picked up and left after another twenty. I've been told in the past that they had some crisis come up but this has happened more than a couple of times there, so I'm not buying it.It's also very hard to reach anyone there. I don't even think they actually answer" their phone. I think they have the ringer turned off and just listen to the messages later

Need a Dr note to look at moles that I'm concerned about. Shows that patients really are not the number 1 concern.Make the taxpayer pay for a Dr visit to see another Dr, and we wonder why health care is so expensive.

I couldn’t have been treated better. From the initial visit that resulted in two biopsies, through the diagnosis, arranging appointments, the surgery and follow up I found everyone I dealt with to be excellent. The day of the surgery is a nervous time and I was treated with kindness and patience by all. Of course, Doctor G is excellent and all of her operating room assistants are great to deal with. I would strongly recommend the Calgary Skin Cancer Centre as the go to place for anyone needing skin cancer assessments and surgery.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff at the Calgary Skin Cancer Centre. They were very accommodating about my request for a specific appointment date. The protocols in place at the clinic were excellent. I can't say enough about my experience and would highly recommend this facility.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Guillemaud and her team in June 2021 when I went there for a MOHS surgery. Absolutely everything was great, and there is nothing at all to point out that was lacking. I felt well taken care of. My recovery was straightforward and easy. Dr. Guillemaud was really interesting too and I enjoyed our conversation during the MOHS procedure. I'm grateful for the fine work she did, and her team was fantastic, from front office to nursing support. I just wish I still lived in Calgary and could go to her anytime something like this (MOHS) came up again for me.

I love how this clinic has you in and out in one day. The entire staff are professional and contribute to a caring experience. The information explained to me about the procedure is exactly what occurred during the day. When I left, I was confident that all the cancerous cells were gone. Thank you to Dr. G and her team. I know that if I have to go through this again, my stress level will be very low due to the positive experience I had at the clinic.

I wanted to say how impressed I was and how comfortable I was made to feel when going to this clinic. The people who work from the front desk to the surgeons and the assistance were great. Very professional and really help me to relax before the surgery. As a second time cancer survivor I can tell you this was a great experience. The cut from the surgery you can’t even see it anymore. I am so great full thank you Calgary Skin Cancer Center!
