Alex of Blush & Bowties planned our July 28, 2018 wedding, and looking back five years later, we wouldn’t change anything about our day. Many wedding planners can help you plan a beautiful day, but what sets Alex apart in our minds is way in which she connects with and invests in her couples. From the moment we first met Alex, we knew she was the right fit for us. She was genuine, caring and so thoughtful with her questions. This investment, coupled with her expertise in the wedding industry and impeccable taste, enabled Alex to plan a wedding for us that was both beautiful and a true reflection of our partnership. In our experience, that's the kind of wedding everyone enjoys most - one that is curated, but still very personal. Our wedding was executed to perfection by Alex, which meant that we could be present and truly enjoy every minute of our day. This was the greatest gift we could give ourselves. Alex holds a special place in our hearts for making it all possible for us - she is truly the best.

While at first I was a bit skeptical about the expense of hiring a wedding planner, I can say without a doubt every penny was worth it and this is the PERFECT team! Lead by Lauren, we felt we were in the most capable hands out there. She was responsive and attentive to our needs, impeccably organised and very detail oriented. She turned our vision into a reality. Not only was Lauren present on our wedding day and oversaw everything down to the finest detail, she came to our rehearsal dinner for a walk through and brought THREE of her colleagues to help out on the day of. Each of them were more professional than the next and made us feel calm and at ease on our wedding day. We were truly able to immerse ourselves in the day and we didn’t have to worry about a single detail. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Thank you again Lauren and co. Absolute masters of their craft! Alex and the entire Blush and Bowties team went above and beyond to make sure we had the most incredible night ever - and they succeeding beyond our wildest expectations and dreams. We were incredibly happy with our decision to work with Lauren at Blush and Bowties for our intimate brunch wedding in 2018. Lauren is very professional and responsive but also a warm and thoughtful person. It was so important to my partner and I to be fully present and enjoy our wedding day with our loved ones. We didn't want to designate a bunch of tasks to our parents or friends and we didn't want to have to worry about running the show behind the scenes ourselves either. With Lauren we knew we were in good hands. She came to a venue site visit armed with a giant checklist of things to review, helped us develop a planning outline, day-of itinerary, and also took care of all our vendor communication the week before the wedding. On the big day she managed everything from venue set-up to vendor drop offs. She made sure everything ran on time and everyone was in the right place...and she made it all look effortless. It was so worth it for us. We had a wonderful day and definitely attribute it to the great team we worked with! Highly recommend!

My husband and I were married in May of 2023 in Toronto at the Symes.After our first interview with Alex we fell in love with her and her energy and philosophy. We shared our vision and she immediately understood us as a couple and what it is we wanted for our wedding and from our planner. Alex promptly drew up a calendar to keep us organized and informed, helping us avoid surprises.We can wholeheartedly say the planning process was an absolute dream. We truly enjoyed the months leading up to our big day, from venue tours to visiting their HQ for a mock-up of the table arrangements… she somehow managed to make sure the smallest details were addressed without overwhelming us. The Blush and Bowties teams' relationships with vendors enabled us to have everything we wanted, down to a checkered marble dance floor and a string quartet for cocktail hour. Over the course of our wedding week Alex worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect, seeing each detail through down to the departure of our guests.Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we owe that entirely to the team at Blush and Bowties. We cannot thank them enough for such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

Lauren was my planner at blush and bow ties and I honestly don’t even have enough words to describe how amazing she is! Everything from the time we met to the wedding day was perfect and it’s almost entirely because of her ❤️❤️ when I finally got to see how my wedding came together it was so emotional because it was more then I could ever imagine! She made my life so much easier leading up to the wedding and executed the vision I had perfectly! I truly love her and consider her a friend now! She has a calm presence as well especially on the day of the wedding that every bride needs haha. Would highly recommend Lauren and her team for any wedding planning!
