Motel le Phare

Had to cancel due to someone's passing and the hotel was extremely uncooperative both with myself and Expedia trying to get the room cancelled. Lack of compassion or empathy from staff and management.

Great hotel for the price, nice and clean, quiet ,easy to find from rt. 20 and friendly staff

Very clean motel with all needed basic amenities.Good place to stop by when driving from Toronto to QC or vice versa as a one day resting halt.

Beautiful room on the main level. $160 for the night including the fee for our dog after tax! The beds were oh so comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. Restaurant on site as well as a couple others just down the road.The customer service here was amazing …. We were supposed to check in yesterday but at the last minute (24 hours approx) we had decided to see if we could bump this booking one day later so we could stay in New Brunswick an extra day. They waived their no cancellation for us and rebooked us for today … just amazing!Even though they do not speak a lot of English and we speak almost no French we were able to communicate easily.Stayed August 5 2022 for 1 night.

Wifi is very slow and choppy, barely usable. Room is clean and spacious. Reception for checking-in after hours is like an escape room.

this place is great. we checked in very late and the owners were very accommodating. the rooms are really large and the one we stayed in was recently renovated. no complaints at all!

Our 2 year old son made our travels a bit mo addre challenging than usual the first hotel we went to Le Phare was horrendous. Well there was no one to greet you and when you enter through the door into some kind of lobby. There is a rotary dial phone. Lady on the phone finally answered it was they don't speak English I tried my best to explain the situation that we needed a room and even tho the websites said there availability they refused to provide us with a room. She said the last room was just rented out ... Yet there was only about 5-6 cars in the parking lot. Super not impressed. I was expecting a lot more from somewhere so highly rated. Clean and comfortable rooms limited hot water could not fill the bath tub but was warm enough for a shower

Review reflects the hotel room and service only, not the restaurant, as is common with other reviewers. I give it five stars because the cleanliness and comfort of the room was top notch for the room charge. I would stay there again if I needed to. Lot's of space in the room and the bathroom.
