Mountain View Helicopters

Completed my Commercial license with Mountain view last spring. What a solid crew and solid program they offer. I debated between going here and other schools as I shopped around quite a bit. I am sure happy I chose MVH. Having a larger group of instructors with a wide range of backgrounds in the industry was invaluable in my training and certainly helped to make me a more well rounded pilot and give me a much better foundation to begin my career on. Not to mention all the staff were extremely pleasant to be around and made you excited to be there (even on the bad weather days)! If I could go back and redo it I wouldn’t change a thing other than booking it sooner! Thanks MVH!

We did Canmore and Banff tour. We had an amazing experience with Michael and we learnt more about Banff and Canmore. I recommend MVH to anyone interested in doing a helicopter tour.

What a wonderful experience! A memory that will last a life time! Our pilot Brad was very knowledgeable and made us feel safe throughout the whole helicopter ride. We did the Kananaskis mountain tour and it was our first time in a helicopter. It's definitely worth it!

An experience that was definitely worth doing and difficult to put into words how amazing it was. Brad was an excellent pilot and tour guide. Despite the difficulties due to constant changes in weather, Brad was very accommodating to our schedule and help me give my mom and wife an unforgettable experience. I really enjoyed learning to fly here, I felt the teachers knew what they were doing and would answer any questions I had. Many of the instructors had lots of experience and stories to tell. They helped with explaining and making ground school subjects easier to remember and understand. The traffic at the airport helped me really get a hang of the radio and how to work around other people. I recommend this school!

From Ashleigh's organizational assistance and patience in finding the right tour for our family, to Peter's professionalism in commandeering the safety elements, the helicopter thrills and sights, we could not have asked for a better time! Amazing experience for our 30+ minute flight for our family of 3. Had wanted to do the Calgary downtown tour but we couldn't get the approvals from Calgary airspace. Did the Bragg Creek tour which was pretty amazing. Our pilot Stuart was awesome.

Had an amazing ride and experience with brad. He was very cool and communicated very well. I would highly recommend here for any helicopter tours or trips. 10/10 experience

I wanted to give my granddaughters a helicopter ride. Brad was fantastic. First, very responsive to phone calls and emails. When we arrived he took us through our flight, safety briefing and we helped push out the aircraft. Then Brad explained the steps on the check list, radio traffic and narrated what we were looking at. Amazing experience that we will never forget. Can’t wait to go again.

Mountain View Helicopters were incredibly accommodating to help both my parents experience Banff and Canmore from the sky while they were on a short Canada Day day-pass vacation from the hospital. Both of my parents have mobility limitations that were a concern for my family. But from the first interaction with MVH, Michael made sure that they were able to make this experience happen for them. The entire car ride back to the hospital afterwards, my parents were both glowing with appreciation and gratitude that they were able to partake in this experience. They were both worried they wouldn’t have another opportunity to visit Canmore/Banff but Michael and Mountain View Helicopters were able to make it happen. Thanks for your patience and accommodations you were able to provide for our family!
