We had a great time and not only fished by learned to fish. It wasn’t Salmon season so we had to throw our catches back, but it was still an amazing experience. Bills been fishing his whole life and was a great guide

Bill is the halibut whisperer. He zoned in a spot and we got our catch of hali, rockfish and even crab on the way back to dock. Could not have had a better time. Great boat, good tunes, and awesome captain! He's incredibly knowledgeable and makes for a fun outing. I will be heading out again with him soon!

Bill is a gem!! If you are in the Victoria or Port Renfrew area and you are looking for a charter look no further. He got us on the fish right away and took us for an unbelievable day! If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would.

Highly recommended.Four of us had an amazing time! Bill was experienced and knowledgeable. Exactly at handling a fish from catch to fillet. Caught a couple halibut and got to knock it off the bucket list. I'm usually sick and wasn't this time out.Thank you King Coops!

Bill has taken us out for a couple years in a row now. Great day! Great boat! and everyone landed a fish. This year we took home 3 nice halibuts ranging from 20 to 50lbs. We left the dock just before 5am and were back by 10 with our limit. Bill even arranged a second boat with one of his colleagues to accommodate our large group. We will be back next year!!

Had an awesome day out on the boat with Bill. I'm not a fisherman by any measure but Bill's vast knowledge of the waters, his gear, and the fish themselves ensured we caught plenty and had a blast doing so. The man speaks fluent halibut - that's the only way I can explain how fast he was able to land one. Looking forward to the next adventure with King Coop!

Bill is a very experienced and excellent captain. He definitely knows where the fish is. We had 3 people out on the sea with Bill and within a few hours, we got 6 halibut, 6 lingcod and 9 rock fish and even more. Everyone on boat enjoyed the trip. I highly recommend Bill for his knowledge, patience and fishing skills.
