Long story short for a company that boast high quality hitches they sure don’t know how to present their product with high standards.Please see below for my email to the company regarding my experience.To whom it may concern,I have recently made an order from your website for a Curt trailer hitch. Prior to making the order, I have done some research in both the product and the seller (which is yourself). Because of my extensive research, I have made the decision to purchase from you on Wednesday May 19th.After two days, I receive a phone call stating that I have a big package for me, but I was not home. The driver left the package at the front of my door. As soon as I got home I see the hitch, without a box and wrapped with a black plastic bag. I was shocked as this was not what I had expected. Upon reading numerous reviews and watching unboxing video of the Curt trailer hitch, this was not it. This is not what I was expecting as I was also going to create an unboxing video. Upon a closer inspection of the hitch I was appalled.The hitch is extremely heavy to be shipped without any packaging. How do you expect this product to reach the customer at the expectation that its “NEW”. Of course just like any unboxed package the product had numerous scuffs, indents, gouges and rust. As I turned the merchandise to inspect it thoroughly, a metal shard cuts my thumb from one of the large gouges.As you can understand, I didn’t even bother opening the plastic bag hopping that the rest of the materials are inside (screws).Now I sit here at the start of my long weekend, composing this email, instead of spending time with my family. Not to mention my concern for getting a cut on my finger, on a metal instrument, with rusted parts.I have included all the photos with this order in the attachments. I would like to hear from your good offices as soon as possible please.They responded with “We can offer $15.00, as this is a cosmetic issue and will not be seen once installed.”A mere slap in the face. I will not be ordering any of their product in the future. I should have bought the official hitch instead. Please see attached photos.

I recently purchased a hitch manufactured by Curt - 2 Class 3. This was purchased via "Hitchweb"I discovered that the width of the hitch hole was 2 1/8" (or more)

Tried to call, number not in service!

Custom wiring harness for Volvo 56386 disabled tailgate.I purchased this $90 custom harness because i hate splices in automotive wiring, they always cause problems. Once installed, my power tailgate wouldn't close. I had to get someone to pick up my daughter so I wouldn't poison her with carbon monoxide. Found a wire reversed in the harness. No response from Curt for 3 days. When they did, they asked questions that indicated they hadn't read or looked at the pictures i had sent, further wasting my time. I had to cut the wires and solder them to the correct designations so I could drive my car!Was told that they could do nothing for me but replace the whole harness which took 3 hours to install! I asked for some small consideration for the trouble, and they replied 'you cut the wires, so we don't have to do anything'Brad HowellMark ZantThank you for making my future choices for trailer accessories easier! I'll never buy from you again - and will tell everybody i get near about this complete failure in customer service.
