The Mane Station Barber Shop

I LOVED coming here until this past Wednesday. Two of the barbers had a conversation within earshot of me discussing how I need to be told I had to wait until my preferred barber was done his lunch. It doesn't bother me that someone wanted to take their lunch; it bothered me that as regular customer they didn't bother to address me and instead had a 'private' conversation in front of me. It made me feel very unwelcome and that my business over the past year was just to collect my money and not value a loyal customer.I wish them nothing but the best, but I will be finding a more personable barbershop. One that values their customers no matter how long or how short they've been a returning patron.

Have had the pleasure to find Silver and his skills exceptional for my curly and hard to handle hair. Very few have been able to find a way to style my hair in a flattering way due to its curliness but Silver's creative vision never fails me. I'm grateful and always very happy with his work! Atmosphere is always very relaxed and welcoming! Great environment and work I haven't found at any Salon even. Never fails me and will be coming back to my regular for me and my son as well.

I wish i could give less than 1 star. Gave SPECIFIC details of what we needed done in order for 4 years of hair growth to be donated. Showed an inspo pic, said to leave length in the back. He literally cut off EVERYTHING(well over 17 inches when only 12 was needed), above the neck, and did NOT cut it in 4-6 sections as we were instructed to do for nice, brushable, donatable hair. Then they washed the cut hair, while it was not brushable and created a dreadlock. When trying to separate the hair into 4 ponytails it wouldn't even separate because of the dreadlock keeping all the base stuck together where he cut. I highly recommend finding elsewhere if you want to get what you specifically ask for. Normally the client gives info on what is wanted and the person doing the cutting follows as close to those instructions as they can. Nope, not at this place. Not even an attempt at confirming if thr length he was gonna cut was okay before just chopping it all off.Editing to reply; the fact that not one time was it asked if length was okay and a mullet style DOES NOT REQUIRE SHORT HAIR IN THE BACK AND LONG ON TOP AS I WAS TOLD BY THIS OWNER. Can't say you don't like the shortness AFTER you already cut it off without asking. Not to mention nobody said they loved it and my only response when you had to ask me was I haven't even looked

The owner Silver and his staff always consult first about what kind of haircut you want and they always clean around the ears and eyebrows if necessary.I have been coming to Silver since his doors opened four years ago and although the pandemic was extremely difficult on business, Silver managed to stay open and his clients are very grateful for that.Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews, I have never had a bad haircut and Silver genuinely cares about his customers!

Just moved into the area and was told to by family member to go to Mane Station Barber.Great experience, Silver did an awesome job on my hair.Will come back again!Would highly recommend to anybody!

I cannot speak more highly of my experience here. I called to get my one year old son in and they took us right away. Sam who ended up cutting his hair welcomed us opened the door for stroller and even played cocomelon on his phone to make him feel comfortable. 10/10 experience!

Absolutely love this place, Silver has been my only barber since I was a kid, he knows everyone in my family that also goes to him by name. Everyone in there that cuts hair knows exactly what they’re doing! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice cut, or a place to have a solid conversation!

Silver is absolutely fantastic with kids, my boys are excited to get their haircuts, he smiles the whole time. My oldest has the swoop hair and no one can ever cut it, but silver does an excellent job!! They are extremely fast, the other guys there and nice and do a good job also!! Just know they are usually extremely busy, but they are busy because they give great haircuts!

It was absolutely the worst experience i had here. I came in and requested that Silver cut my hair & he rudly said he didn't eat lunch, so he couldn't cut my hair. As he proceeds to cut 2 other customers' hair, Meanwhile, i specifically told my barber to only give me a haircut & he proceeds to line up my beard after the fact saying it won't be an extra charge & it came out to $50 ($30 hair + $20 beard line up) they also spoke about me in their language. Good thing i understand Arabic a bit, but man, i will never put myself or anyone else through that. He truly let the fame get to him & it shows in his character.
