They had the best goat biryani but then they started experimenting and ruined it. It feels as of the biryani has got more whole spices than rice. With every spoonful you either get a clove or cardamom. Very unpleasant.

I just got my order that was spicy paya and naan. Instead of spicy it was salty and naan were too thick from the corners and not cooked properly. Quantity of paya was not enough usually restaurant fill up till the black edge. I will not recommend it

Ordered chicken karahi half kg and 5 naan breads. What a disappointment. They use to be my favorite restaurant whenever I visit Calgary from Edmonton but it's the worst one now. Menu reduced, no taste or flavor in food, which means you guys going downhill so quickly.

Keeping aside so many restaurants, I came to this place to try chicken curry and biryani. In about 5-6 pieces of chicken in the curry, they had put 3 neck pieces in my take away order. When I called to complain, they want me to hand them over the dish traveling all the way from Northwest in order to confirm.Overall bad experience. There are other better restaurants to try in the city.

I was really excited to try this place and was craving some good karahi and desi food.Our family ordered the full chicken karahi and one each of seekh and chicken kebabs along with sesame naan.Unfortunate to say, the karahi was a bit of disappointment. It was more creamy than tomato based, and lacked that spicy flavour that karahi is known for. I thought it was a shame since its their namesake, but oh well. Maybe it was an off day.The kebabs on the other hand were OFF THE HOOK AMAZING!! hands down one of the best kebabs I've tasted in a long time. Fresh, hot, and great quantity.The naans paired with them great as well.Service could honestly use a bit work, but I understood they were overwhelmed and understaffed, so it's all good.Would def recommend this place for the grilled food. The bill came to about $72 with 8 naans and 1 drink in total.

I’m a visitor from Cali, unfortunately i found this place for Karhai, I specifically looking for typical karhai from wok scratch but I had bad taste experience last night, they claimed it’s karhai but it wasn’t ,,,, they served normal Chicken Curry with 20% curry and less quantity coz I ordered HALF KG, once again it wasn’t KARHAI anyway, pls train your management Mr. BUTT sahab !

Have been eating here for a very long time but lately the food quality and taste has totally changed and gone worse. Ordered karahi chicken but it was more like a Dahi chicken with green peppers. May b the management has changed or they got a new cook. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Fatima’s accommodated a group of 9 of us. We ordered a variety of dishes ranging from chicken karahi, goat karahi, garlic naan, chicken biryani, and, vegetable biryani. Each dish was cooked fresh. Food was delicious! The most notable options for us were the goat Karahi and vegetable Biryani.Our server was polite and accommodated us well, however at times we had to ask for water and a cup for water.The atmosphere was warm and inviting. I gave a three due to the condition of the bathroom. Bathroom did not have paper towels or an alternative hand drying option.

We ordered 1. Lahori Murch Channa, 2. Beef Nehari (Shank), 3. Butter Chicken, 4. Chicken Kabob, 5. Naans. 6. PopsChicken Kabob was tasty and fresh. Channa was just okay (not as authentic). Kids loved the Butter Chicken. Nehari was not as tasty as expected. Of course, Naans were cooked well and buttered nicely.Let's discuss service. Unfortunately, if I wasn't happy with some of the foods, I would've given a one-star on this review. We had to remind the waiters for every item they were supposed to bring us. She brought us glasses but no water. It took them two reminders to bring us water while we were almost done with the food. A few other reminders to get our Naans. You felt that the waiters were forced to bring us food, no smile but frowny faces.The price was not as bad, at least.

Food is really good and worth ordering. I have always ordered online. However decided to dine in this time. My honest review is that you will get good food but expect a below average service with 2 lady severs having a super bad attitude and they look like they don't work there. They don't even want to come to your table twice to take order. They will take wrong orders, and serve the wrong order as the correct one with a smug that they did something cunning. This place can be a must eat place in Calgary but alas the management needs to improve their service and also work to improve their ambiance.
