Gave this veterinarian a try since I live in town. Going to keep looking for a new vet. Had an appointment for my two goldendoodles annual vaccinations. Walked in and the two women sitting down at the front desk did nothing to acknowledge my arrival. Looked at me and then looked back at her computer screen. No hello, no good morning, nothing. As soon as I opened the door I said good morning" to them

I live in Toronto and cannot afford the astronomical prices of dentistry. A friend of mine that runs a rescue takes her pets here and stated that they are definitely way more affordable. I called today to ask how much is the basic dental cleaning and then how they charge for extractions is it per tooth or per 10 minute intervals etc. I was advised that unless I drive three hours there and have the vet “ look inside the dogs mouth” they cannot give me a quote. This seems a little bit ridiculous considering x-rays need to be done to confirm extractions not just a visual exam. Definitely won’t be going here that’s for sure. I have called at least 20 other veterinarian clinics across Ontario that will gladly give quotes generalized over the phone. Do better this is how you lose potential business and receive bad reviews and bad referrals

I won’t take my animals anywhere else. Dr. Tom and his staff are wonderful. My old cat Ethel (15) has always been a delicate little thing. Not having had the best start in life. As a kitten she was found in a garbage bag and brought to the Alliston Humane Society, where we adopted her several weeks later. On June 1st I brought her to the clinic to have a swelling on her face looked at. It was an abscessed tooth. Dr. Tom did surgery on her that same day!! Due to her age and tiny stature I was worried. But I got the call later that afternoon to come and pick her up! She is now home safe and sound. Thank you Dr. Tom and your terrific staff!!

The Thorton Animal Clinic is by far the best vet clinic I have been to. Dr. Tom is a man of few words, but a man who cares deeply about his furry patience. Dr Stefanie Nickerson has been added to the team now and she is equally as compassionate as Dr. Tom I feel very lucky to have found them to take good care of my furfamily members

After a referral from Top Dog Rescue from Kathy and Kacey and Tiori, I to get my dog JAKK to get my dogs shots up to date. Samantha was able to get me in very quickly and the service that I received was fantastic they even clipped his nails and not to be biased but they said he was a very well-behaved dog. Dr Tom was friendly informative and very helpful. I have to keep these people in my phone book now

Dr. Tom has been caring for our girls for over 8 yearsHe is very caring of the animals & a very nice man once you get to understand him. Like myself, we are not all rainbows & sunshine on the outside.....we wish continued success SPA

This was my first visit and I was very satisfied with the care my cat received from a diagnosis that didn’t required expensive testing. He knew immediately what was probably the health issue and prescribed medication which worked. My cat has asthma. The fees seem to be reasonable compared to my previous vet. The customer service is friendly and helpful. I will continue to be a client of the clinic.

Excellent vet. No no sense, kind, compassionate, and honest. He takes great care with our 3 large mastiffs.

Nice Animal Clinic. Clean, quiet, and the staff is familiar to us. We have been dealing with this Clinic for nearly 19 years (even when his clinic was in Cookstown)! He is a quiet man and doesn’t mince words. He knows what has to be done and does it! Also, I find his prices very fair. If you love your furry family, you can’t go wrong with Dr. Wiltshire.
