Canadian Red Cross

I have been trying to get hold of the Lethbridge Red Cross for the past two weeks. I have called and left phone messages. If you need equipment I would go to a medical supply store or check out the the second hand stores. Don't waste your time and energy calling the Red Cross as I believe they are no longer operating.

Aaron was super helpful and efficient. Best way to reach the Lethbridge Red Cross is to use the Fax Number. Clearly state your requirements and ask them to call you back with an appointment time to pick up the equipment.My needs were met in less than 2 days. Remember they are volunteers, so be kind and considerate

The local Red Cross is a good place to get the loan of assistive equipment like wheelchairs & walkers. Always very helpful.

Is the Red Cross still open? According to my cell logs I have called them 17 times yesterday and today. The closest I got was the phone being picked up and immediately hung up twice. Did they close?

As of Aug 5, 2020, the phone message states to leave a message.....BUT YOU CAN'T LEAVE A MESSAGE!!!!!!!Can't get through to book an appointment !!! Picked up something last week and the girl was very cranky and rude.

What a terrible experience with LTHB Red Cross today. The Staff I interacted with were rudely brief in their speech and mannerisms. Taking it personal, It felt like I was inconveniencing them by trying to collect on a requisition they had received well in advance on behalf of my disabled mother. What I don't understand is why the requisition sat there for as long as it did and no one addressed the issues prior. End result... nothing done, its Friday, as staff felt they needed to tell me it was Friday. Longer wait while the agencies juggle me around and more unpaid missed work. Its not just me, the gentleman before me had several bulky ADL items to carry out. I was shocked that no assistance was offered by any Red Cross staff or volunteers even after hearing the items falling in the hallway outside the office. Thankfully a good samaritan helped him out. I'll take investing time on social media finding what I need then experience what I did today again.

We've been calling for almost 2 weeks trying to get through. Nobody picks up and you can't leave a message. Even now after a request from Home Health we can't get through.

First I give thanks to the Red Cross of Lethbridge.I had to pick up some bathroom shower equipment.The reception was busy but very friendly, helpful; then she offered help to carry the Equipment to my Van.Im disabled now so these little things mean alot to me.I never knew the Red Cross did this.I only take 1 star off because the building they are renting is very dangerous in the hallway, the floor has buckled in a few places.But that is there landlord, im tell ya if I had tripped.. put a Red safety Cone on it.Thank you red cross.

I've only been to the Red Cross in Lethbridge to donate items, but my experience was great. The woman working the front desk was incredibly helpful with the donation process, going as far to give me pamphlets of what can and can't be donated for future visits.FYI: The Red Cross runs the HELP program which lends out equipment to those who qualify - raised toilet seats, bath benches, etc. Inquire online or over the telephone.
