Kees Tae Kwon Do

Our son has just started training at Kees new Kelowna facility. It is an absolutely amazing space. As a new student, it can be intimidating to join a new club but not the case at Kees. We were warmly welcomed by Trevor and his students and our son felt comfortable right away. As parents, we could tell immediately that Kees was the right choice and we encourage any parents out there thinking about getting their kids involved in martial arts to check them out, I'm glad we did.

My children don't go here but someone ought to tell them if you're going to be picking up kids from school their driver should know and follow basic road laws. It's illegal to make a left turn on a solid yellow line. I wouldn't trust to put my kids safety into their drivers hands... This is an accident waiting to happen. I see an old comment about bad driving.. I guess some things don't change.

I arrived this place by mistake looking for another martial arts school, but I'm glad I did it. My son have been attending to kees Tae Kwan do for 4 years, and i'm SO happy to see how much My son has learn not only in the discipline, but also his confidence and concentration. I highly recomend this place.

We are so impressed with all the programs offered at Kees. The after school program was soooo appreciated and my daughter fell in love with the sport. She is excited each day she gets to go.

Our daughter went to KEES after school program from grade 1-5 and now attends for the leadership program. It’s a fantastic program which helps the students learn about responsibility and leadership. The leadership class supports the students as they learn how to teach Tae Kwon Do. Then they get to apply their knowledge through helping with other classes. My daughter loves the KEES community and relationships she had built.Our son has also been going there since kindergarten and he’s now in grade 3. He enjoys learning new things and is always excited and motivated for the next belt test!This is a photo of my daughter presenting her brothers belt certificate to him after helping with the testing ☺️

Our kids have been part of the Kees Tae Kwon Do family for 15 years and attribute much of their respect, loyalty, integrity and even academic performance to what they have learned through kees.Perhaps the best investment we have made for our children.

My son has been going to Kees for 4 years and we feel it is an excellent Martial Arts School. They focus on building confidence and character as well as Taekwondo skills. The staff is friendly and professional, their leadership is excellent. I would recommend Kees Taekwondo to anyone with kids interested in learning martial arts.

We have had our son attending the after school program for a few months now and have not been impressed. The Tae Kwon Do portion is good but the upstairs area has not been great. Rarely does anyone even look up when I pick him up, his uniform that is to stay there all week went missing while there and we had to purchase a new one, and we have been calling the number on the website to let them know when he isn't going to be there and someone just called to reprimand us for leaving a message on their machine as they don't start work until 330 and therefore don't get the message in time. It seems poorly run and I wouldn't recommend it at this time.

Our daughter has been attending Kees Tae Kwon Do in Kelowna for a year and a half and was in Lake Country for a year prior to that. She absolutely loves the classes and the instructors are extremely patient and encouraging with her as she is very hard on herself. The program has taught her focus, self-discipline and to not give up when things get tough. We are very pleased with Kees!
