Pleasant Paddling
Great experience, I really had a wonderful 4 hour kayaking trip, Paddle to the seals". And that is what happened! We were lucky enough to find them relaxing on a small isle out in the ocean. The whole tour was smooth and informative and something you have to do to actually experience what Nova Scotia and to offer. The staff were great

Pleasant Paddling
We had an awesome time on the sunset tour with Kate (our guide). This was our first time in a kayak and the gang at Pleasant Paddling made us feel confident. The Blue Rocks area is a treasure with the many small islands, the birds and the seals.

Pleasant Paddling
We did the paddle to the seals 4 hour tour and it was an amazing experience. Multiple seals out within ~ 30 meters of our kayaks on our trip, also saw a bald eagle and multiple herons and other birds. Our guide Carson, was very friendly, knowledgeable and took great care to share local details and take us to beautiful coves. This is an easy paddle for all skill levels and the gear is high quality for a rental. Highly recommended and memorable experience.

Pleasant Paddling
We had an amazing tour with tour guide Lukas! The girls in the hut were really nice and friendly. Our tour was a little delayed as we waited to see what the weather was going to do. After about 30-40 minute delay and the rest of our group cancelling we headed out with Lukas. He was very knowledgeable and knew the area like the back of his hand. We stopped on a nice beach and had some cookies from a local baker. It was an amazing experience kayaking through the islands on a foggy day but I can’t wait to go back and try the kayak tour to the seals.

Pleasant Paddling
We rented 2 tandem kayaks and had a great time despite being mostly beginner kayakers! The staff were super friendly and clearly explained the maps, safety info and went through a kayaking technique basics tutorial (on land). The Blue Rocks area is a really beautiful area to kayak, the islands provided a lot of shelter even though the winds were around 25-30kph that day. Would definitely recommend this to people of any skill level!

Kayaking at Blue Rocks is a Must do! We had a wonderful experience with Robyn and her team who went out of their way to get us set up with kayaks and offered great advices on the many islands that you can visit. Robyn has a real talent for teaching techniques and basic security, as well as reassuring beginners and children. All the team at Blue Rocks Pleasant Paddling is extremely nice and positive. If you're hungry after a ride, why not enjoy a snack or a good coffee at the Point General, everything is delicious.Have fun!thanks again Pleasant Paddling

Pleasant Paddling
We had a great time on the Paddle to the Seals trip. Our guide, Finn, told us lots of interesting facts about the area's ecology and history. The route was very interesting; we went through narrow channels, some open water, and took a different route on the way back. The guards kept us a respectful distance from the seals, I wished I had binoculars. The snack was great with fresh fruit and apple cinnamon loaf! The equipment was high-quality and kept in good repair. The area itself is absolutely gorgeous.

great experience, we did the 3hr afternoon tour on calm water around the islands. our guide is really nice, learned about the history of the islands and the trees and plants from her. I only took one star off bc i really wanted to do the seal tour instead, but it was full.
