Shaolin Noodle House
My mistake, I walked into this restaurant thinking it was another Shaolin Noodle House that me and my family use to go to.Pros- Noodles were chewy, like how I remembered hand cut noodles should beCons- Noodles dish was too oily, I felt like throwing up after I left the restaurant. (Also, paid for it after I got home)- The shao long bao was really disappointing, the skin disintegrated as soon as you picked up even though the skin was overly thick (and yet still couldn't hold the meat in place). Almost little to no moisture in the shao long bao (no soup) and the meat was dry. I am pretty sure they used frozened shao long bao instead of making freshed ones. They must have switched how they served this dish because a previous user had posted a photo implying it was more genuine shao long bao. I knew I got jiped as soon as the dish came. :/ I can make better shao long bao with the frozen ones from the supermarket.I can't recommend this place

I like the noodles and dumplings here. Freshly made and very authentic. Very reasonably priced. My go to place whenever I have blade sheared noodles craving.

Solid place for Chinese food with a great selection of noodles and appetizers. Great lunch combo options available with rice or noodle and soup as a side for a decent price.

Was feeling sick so I went in to have the nutritious lamb soup with stewed noodles. Broth was rich and not too salty. Noodles had a great texture. The store might need a rebranding though. The combination of northern noodles with bubble tea on offer confused me a little.

Uhmmmm what happened to the food quality? Very very disappointing as this place is catering to the western clientele?? My northern curry noodles was so ordinary and it wasn’t cheap either. The cook just dumped a bunch of curry powder over it.. I can getBetter At a food court and/or can make it better myself at home . The teriyaki chicken fried rice was just as disappointing as it wasn’t bad but not great...-again mall food court quality. Don’t want to say but should’ve known when walking in there were no Asians customers just a few western people...won’t be back. Too bad.

10 years after with two different owners, this place is still one of the best northern Chinese style noodle restaurants. New owner renovated the seating area so it's suitable for family with kids now. Noodle and appetizers are still very indulging. Decent quantity with the cost you paid. Excellent service although it may be too busy during weekend evening. Limited free parking at rear.

Love/Hate relationship with this place.Hate: finding plastic in the food. First time was a cell phone screen protector. It took us two years to go back. Finally decided to give it a second chance and started going again summer of 2016. It was fine until yesterday.. Another piece of plastic. Looked like a plastic tab from those white plastic takeout bags.See arranged pictures.Love: the chilli paste, wontons in spicy sauce, dragging noodles, hot and sour soup, and the dumplings. The hate really outweighs the love though and will probably never be going back until they get shut down for being dirty and then re-opening again. Had a good run with it though.

Hey this place is not as bad as I expected! I like it. Though it does seem like the ownership has changed over the past year. The lanterns that used to hang are now gone, and the interior looks much darker in contrast to its former look. The interior has a modern contemporary look. We went around 3 o'clock so there was literally nobody there expect an elderly couple and a man.The menu wasn't the cheapest but then I realized that seafood was in most of the items. When our order came, I was astonished. The portion was quite big. Their played have a gold sheen to it, so you know it's not some random plate bought at some cheap wholesale. Not to mention the noodles were knife cut. And here I thought they were only available in Taiwan. 15 km from my home sure beats 5,000 km! Though the bubble tea looks a bit sketchy...The waitress though, seemed unprofessional. In fact, she seemed like she didn't want to be there at all, shuffling her feet and mumbling her script. It was almost like a cliché from a movie. All in all, I would come back. I can't wait to try the other knife cut noodles, and the suggestions made from the other reviewers.
