Have been attending regularly for over a yearToday is the second time that Poem my Irish Wolfhound was attacked. She is totally passive and both times were with aggressive males that the owner totally was out of touch on how to reprimand. Not impressed!

It is a well maintained park with some bush for the dogs to run in. First time here (out of towner). Appears to be bring your own water- perhaps for sanitary reasons. Will go back when we visit area again

A great dog park. The paths through the woods are great for taking your dog through. There's almost always other dogs to play with here, but it never gets too crowded. A good mix of open field space and wooded area. Would probably go here more if we lived at all close by. Once the third crossing is finished, we'll probably go here much more.

Gore Road Dog Park
Well fenced, cut regularly, slope grade keep the water buildup minimal, good group of dogs, busiest after 3:30; has gone without mulch for 2+ years despite correspondence with the city, attempts to create water source via citizen provided rain barrel was not supported by the municipality. Could continue to be the best in the city with some simple improvements

Beautiful location, securely fenced. I have been going there for many, many years, and I have enjoyed my time with the dogs and people who attended the park. Most dogs have been well behaved.

Great dog park, but can be busy. If you do use it, please be courteous to others and supervise your dog; supervising your dog means not only being present in the park, but actively monitoring whatever your dog is doing and being ready to intervene for misbehavior.

This is a great community dog off-leash dog park. It is mostly grass, some trees in the middle and some around the edge so there are nice spots for hot dogs to rest. There is an area with bark (I was going to call it a bark area but that's confusing at a dog park - dogs can bark anywhere in the park). There are 2 benches for people to sit on. People leave balls around the yard. There's a big pan and apparently some owners bring water to refill the pan when they come. All the owners I've seen are diligent about picking up after their dogs and I haven't seen any sign that there are dog owners who don't pick up when others aren't around. Some of the photos that are associated with it are not in the park itself but down a path beside the park that leads to the river. Many dog owners take their dogs there before or after the park. One of the other reviews seems to be for a B&B so I've flagged it to Google.

A great part along the burgeoning developments along Hiway 15. East Kingston offers up a new walking bridge access with a great dog park close to the library and community gardens.
