Current Taxi Kelowna

I like the concept of an entire fleet of electric Tesla taxis. However, the Model X we travelled in was hot inside and could not produce enough AC to cool the vehicle. Design flaw for Tesla or battery saving for taxi? No idea?

my car went totally dead waiting for a supercharger in Kelowna at the best western. All the spots were full with mostly current taxi, drivers not even in the car or sleeping in the car. I asked one guy if he could move for one minute so I could get enough to get home. He said no these chargers were put in for us". He had 235km showing on his charge so he was fine anyway. It's in their user agreement they have to move if a paying customer is waiting as the public is supposed to have priority. I told him I was on zero % and he just shrugged his shoulders. No chance I will ever hire current taxi with that entitled attitude"

We ordered 4 vehicles each day with Current Taxi for 8 trips over the weekend, from airport pick up and drop off to everything in between! We were so impressed by their vehicles, customer service, timeliness etc..Would absolutely use this service again in the future.Thank you Current Taxi!

Took a cab from Current a few weeks ago. The vehicle was super clean and I liked their text updates/ability to track the drivers progress. Most importantly, as a female who was travelling alone, super late at night in a city I don’t know, I felt safe with my driver. Mehdi was very kind and made sure I got into the place I was staying before driving away. Will definitely be relying on Current whenever I’m in town

Current Taxi in Kelowna has and will continue to be my taxi service of choice. The experiences I have had have been outstanding which warranted this positive review.On two separate occasions, I have been able to book my ride requests in advance through the app. This has provided me with piece of mind knowing that I have a safe ride to my destination. As well as I do not have to stress the morning of my trip trying to find a ride.Prior to my trip(s), I was able to see where my driver was and approximately how far from my house they were. This allowed me to be ready for prompt pick up to ensure my arrival at my destination on time.My drivers Richard and Scott were on time, professional and very personable. They introduced themselves and were very pleasant to engage in conversation with. The cars were in outstanding condition inside and out and very well kept.Overall my experiences exceeded my expectations. I will continue to only use Current Taxi and only recommend them to my friends and family.

I have had the pleasure of riding with current taxi, it was recommended to me by a loyal current taxi customer. Tried current and will never change, most courteous, attentive and friendly drivers. One driver Peter he was professional, friendly and made me feel safe. He also unloaded my luggage, which I did not expect and made sure I was safely at my destination. Very memorable, for this I will only use Current Taxi!! Drivers are professional and vehicles are very clean…Recommend Current Taxi!!

I am from Alberta and was in BC visiting family, I am always cautious about taking Uber or Taxi as I am an Indigenous woman. I must share that I have had the most pleasant experience with Current Taxi Kelowna, they excelled in service; very courteous and punctual. They treated me like royalty, especially having to ride in a Tesla taxi. I would highly recommend Current Taxi Kelowna. I will definitely be using them again on my next visit to BC. Current taxi used to be good. Since they’ve changed their app my bookings have continuously been cancelled without reason. This has been incredibly irritating when I’m trying to catch a flight. It’s happened about twenty times now so I will no longer be using current taxi.

This is absolutely the BEST cab company I have ever had the pleasure of using. The wait is sometimes a bit longer than the others but always worth the short wait. It's not only that the fleet is comprised entirely of Teslas, including a Z model, that makes this company so exceptional but the drivers are all remarkably polite and respectful. This makes the journey an enjoyable experience every single time. This ride will cost you the same as any other cab would, if not even less since the most direct route is always taken. The drive is quick and direct but as a rider you never feel rushed or pressured to tip. However a tip, in my opinion, is warranted since anytime it is necessary the driver, dispatch or company is willing to go above and beyond in any way to ensure that the trip is first class in every way!

John was our driver this evening and he was so wonderful as we navigated putting two car seats into the vehicle (Tesla) that he was driving. He was patient, kind and sincere. Thanks so much John! All the best as you start your journey in Kelowna!
