We are so happy that we hired Andrei and his team at Tip Top Flooring to refurbish the badly damaged parquet in our new home—we cannot recommend them highly enough. We loved the look of the parquet and so we were very disappointed when we took possession of our home and realized just how badly the floors were damaged: not only was there damage to the surface from water and other wear and tear, but the parquet was loose, which would require painstaking, piece-by-piece work to repair. The damage was bad enough that we seriously considered replacing the floors altogether, despite loving the look of the parquet. However, after Andrei assessed the floors and explained what he could do to salvage the parquet, we chose to take a risk on trying to repair the floors instead of tearing them up. After Andrei and his team finished the job, the parquet looked brand new! We were also very impressed with Andrei's ability to accurately quote the cost of repairing and refinishing our difficult floors. Additionally, Andrei and his team replaced our baseboards and, unsurprisingly, did an amazing job. The moulding is now blended seamlessly with preexisting elements of our home, making the whole look so much greater than the sum of its parts. My wife and I purchased a home with dark wood engineered hardwood floors. Our plan was to replace them with a light wood for a more Scandinavian look. However, given the cost of replacing what were essentially new floors, it was difficult to justify the expense and waste. After consulting with Andrei, we determined that our engineered floors could be refinished to achieve the looks we wanted at a small fraction of the cost of new floors. Andrei came to our house on several occasions and (using a spare board from the crawl space which he stripped and stained with no less than 5 different finishes) presented us with several options. His team worked quickly and treated our home with care. Most importantly, we love the results. I highly recommend Andrei and Tip Top Flooring.

We purchased a house and needed to urgently sell our place before summer vacation. I needed to have my prefinished red maple floors sanded down and refinished. I called many flooring companies from HomeStars, but Andrei was the only one who came to my home the same day, took precise measurements, and explained my options to me. He is very cordial, professional and helpful. He was able to start the job the following week and his guys worked super hard to ensure my job was done on time. Andrei himself came in on a Saturday to finish the small outstanding details so my home could be listed on time. The quality of the work was exceptional, and I added an additional project mid stream, which Andrei was willing and able to accommodate. His price was also the most reasonable of all the quotes I received by a considerable amount, and because he was so precise with his measurements and everything else, the quote he gave me was the actual price. My floors look spectacular. This was such a stress free renovation project that I booked Andrei to do the floors in my new place. As usual, he was on time for the quote and gave me a number of different options, he patiently explained to me all my options and the price points for each. We recently moved to a new home with old red oak flooring. We wanted to give it an update with a clean look by refinishing the floor. Andrei and his team gave us exactly what we were looking for. The quality of the finish is excellent. The surface feels even better than it looks.

Compared with a few other contractors that I had spoken with, this was the most honest and transparent quote.The work took a total 3 days to complete because we had a lot of stuff in our house and we could not move it out, but the team was very helpful and worked around it. No damage, no dirtying anything, and still the highest quality of work. The floor looks better than ever and whole house looks like it got a major upgrade.Andrei himself is a gentleman, and I would highly recommend contacting him even if just for an honest and pleasurable experience to help you navigate through this stressful process of floor replacement.

Andrei was a pleasure to work with. Him and his team removed my existing wood and carpet floors and installed new engineered wood floors and oak capped stairs. The work was done beautifully and very efficiently, not to mention at a very competitive price. Andrei took a great amount of care in planning out the job and even suggested installing wood nosing on a ledge - I hadn't even considered this, but it looks great.
