Always an amazing experience. Cynthia consistently does an amazing job with the cut and colour for my curly hair. She also always has lots of helpful information and tips for me regarding hair care.

I am SO glad I found Carbon Hair Studio. I moved to Guelph almost 2 years ago and it’s always hard to find a new hair stylist that you can trust! Well, safe to say that I completely trust Cynthia. I joke that she can do magic because she is so talented. Highly recommend her for colouring and cuts :)

Great first experience at Carbon! Jamie was able to fit me in last minute and she did a fantastic job with my cut and blow dry. Very professional and will definitely go back.

Jacob is such an incredible stylist. He’s funny & easy to talk to. He gives great input on ideas I have and changes I’m thinking about making with my hair. He has taken me from my natural dark brown to blonde and always exceeds my expectations. I have never been complimented more on my hair since he became my stylist. Thank you Jacob!

Chris is THE BEST. I have long hair and am extremely picky with who I go to. He is the only person I let go near my hair to cut and colour, and he never fails to amaze me! My mum, short hair, also, absolutely adores him. Thank you, Chris!!!

I have always been impressed with the service and knowledge demonstrated by my stylist, Cynthia. She can work miracles and always knows just what to do to make my hair look amazing, not only when she styles it, but also after I wash it and style it myself (and I am by no means a stylist). Always a nice atmosphere, reasonable prices and care taken during an appointment. Thank you Cynthia for your years of work on my hair!

First time I went to get my hair coloured the stylist missed pieces of my hair on the sides of my head without toner. I reached out and explained that I wasn’t happy and I was offered to come back and have it fixed. She asked me if I wanted to adjust my money piece and I pulled out too thin strands and asked her to lighten those and then she proceeded to bleach a chunk of hair in the front. The colour was uneven and had red strands in the money piece and the money piece was too big and not at all what I asked for. The colour washed me out completely and by the time I got home I had a mental breakdown. Stylist turned me to the side the whole time and only let me see the end result in which I was shocked, she had already straightened my hair so I couldn’t really ask her to change it at that point. If you’re someone who struggles with social anxiety and have a hard time at hair salons this is not the right place for you, this is the second time I leave unhappy. I’ll have to spend more money than I already spent to fix it.

I live in Edmonton and had just had my hair cut and didn't like it. My daughter recently had her hair done by Jamie. I loved it so I went to see if mine could be fixed. She did a fantastic job! I love it. Even the lady in the chair beside me told me how great it looked. Thank you sooo much Jamie. Everytime I visit family in Guelph, I'll be calling.

This place is wonderful! This was my first time here. First of all, the atmosphere is lovely and the place is very nice and clean. My junior hairdresser Emily was so fun to talk to and she did a great job ok my hair! She knew what I wanted and connected with me on a personal note how I wanted my hair done. Prices are in the average range for a normal haircut and doesn't over charge. But you can be the judge of that. Highly recommend!
