Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

The staff at this store are the best. Friendly, helpful and efficient. Although the paint is a bit more expensive the quality is far far better than the other paint that can be purchased economically at the big box stores. I prefer the greater quality as it more than makes up for the small difference in price.

Good service, good products.

I buy paint from this place all the time. Usually I call they prepare it and I pick it up no issue. This time I needed one small can of any white paint. I asked for primer or any paint that can be used to paint brick. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone Mandeer was very unpleasant and very condescending, not providing me very much help. Instead he told me to just come into the store instead because I wasn’t sure the ml amount of the can of paint which they were all out of anyway.

Refreshing. Greeted with a smile and an obvious willingness to help if I needed it. The young man was pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. Didn’t need or buy much but I am super impressed with the service I received. Love it!!!

Robin is an all star. We are doing renos, he asked how our latest project went, suggested a customized solution to a problem and even helped me out to the car with the paint (in Winter!). Great experience, highly recommend.

We went into this location looking for paint for our deck last summer. We were advised to get a particular type of paint made for decks, and bought 8 gallons in all. I had a retired professional painter of 50 years apply the paint, and we were initially very happy with the results.Unfortunately, after just one winter, we noticed a great deal of bubbling in the paint, and by the beginning of summer, huge chunks of paint were coming off with very little contact. We then went back into the store, and were advised we used the wrong type of paint, even though it was suggested to us in-store. They also asked for some paint chip samples from us, so they could send it to their headquarters to find out what caused the paint to fail. We obliged, and hoped that this could all be resolved before the end of summer.After approximately 3 months with no word from the store, the man who applied the paint for me went into the store, and was told that they would not be doing anything for us, as they were apparently able to determine that the wood was wet when we applied it. They were ensured that it wasn’t wet when we applied it, but that was the end of the discussion with them.All in all, we are extremely disappointed that we spent so much money on paint that was suggested to us by staff, and yet it didn’t even last one full year, even when applied by a retired professional.Update: I called the number provided, but I couldn’t get through to anyone. I then emailed their customer service, but I haven’t heard back. Can’t say that I’m surprised….

The store is always very neat, staff friendly and helpful. Willing to spend the time to make sure you are getting what you need and want. Product is always in stock so 1 trip is all that's ever needed!

Everyone at the Sherwin-Willimas store that I go to in Edmonton has always been very pleasant & cheerful & helpful. They have been very knowledgable & have made great suggestions and observations about the colors I've been working with and thinking of using for my current painting project. I have always been warmly welcomed as soon as I entered the store. It's fun to shop for paint at their store!
