This is the best place in Burns Lake to use the restroom. You can use without purchase and it is right off the highway without being busy.

Great place to stop in with my dog, very dog friendly, would reccomend checking it out knowledgeable and friendly staff. Bring your dog:)

There will be farmers market in july. They have free fishing rods to lend. Ask directions for free camping. Lots of info available regarding trails and activities.

Burns Lake Visitor Information Centre
This visitor center is a delight. You should stop here even if you need nothing. Just make up some questions. We had a hard night camping with mosquitos waiting in the wings and this visitor center really turned things around for us. Not one but three truly kind and well informed employees attended to us with all the care in the world and even filled our water bottles. 10/10 would frequent this establishment on our return trip. Next door there is a tiny small adorable museum. Didn’t get a chance to visit but you should.

Small visitor center with lovely employees! Close to farmers market on Friday pm with more lovely locals. Opal lake is a must see
