We called Mr. Bernard to install a backup water pressure sump pump. Mr. Bernard is a nice person who knows his job and overall did a good job with a water pump. However, he left pice of a pipe in the sump pit which prevented the floater from descending and the main pump kept pumping out an empty pit!Luckily we were home and quickly fixed the situation, otherwise the main pump would overheat and break and we would face replacement expenses. Also, when testing a water pump he unplugged main pump and forgot to plug it back (I discovered it when cleaning the site). Please double check after to make sure everything is in order!

Our water main broke in the house during the ice storm, right after we lost power. Luckily my husband was right there and shut the valve so we didn’t sustain any damage. The city couldn’t access the valve outside the house, which neant that a plumber would have to repair our pipe to restore our running water on a « live » line. We called six plumbers and none would do it. Alain Bernard did some troubleshooting on the phone and promised to come by on Monday (it was Thursday and he was busy servicing shelters).Good Friday, 4:15 pm, he called my husband to say he would come over before going home. He came by, three days early, to help us out. He did a great job, we are very grateful. Thank you!

Alain's estimate was very reasonable and the job ended up taking exactly the amount of time that he had estimated. He booked us in quickly and showed up on time. His work was professional and we are happy with the results. We will definitely call Alain again next time we need a plumber!

Great plumber. Very friendly and professional. I had an emergency and he was the only one that managed to come the next day - and I called more than 10 companies - everyone else either refused to come or had an opening in 2 weeks.I had leaky supply valves on the kitchen sink and the washing machine. Found him through google and chose him because of the reviews. That were all true! Great plumber and even took some time to teach me about the particular issue. I will definitely call him if ever I have any other issues and would recommend!
