Value Village

A new blue-jeans been sold at costco for $19; a used blue-jean been sold at value-v for $22. This is just a one example. If pple think that VV is affordable, no! it's not, and unlikely. It maybe a non-profit org. not sure for, but sells olds for higher.

I went in for a dress, and found out stores no longer have change rooms. I know my size so I got what would normally fit me and was assured that's if it didn't fit me at home I could refund it for my money back. I should have read over the receipt but just listened to the employee.The dress didn't fit so I returned it (it was a week after) but was then told you can only get exchanges. I exchanged it for a new dress, which again I could not try on. This dress was from Old Navy, so I definitely knew my size, or so i thought. Brought it home, it doesn't not fit.I have given up trying to find a dress. It cost to much gas money to have to go home to try it on just not to fit. I'm disappointed by the policy of no change rooms.The store workers here were professional and nice. I understand the rules are something they just have to follow.

As with all of the thrift stores post Covid, Value Village was the leader in outrageous prices for used goods and clothing. I was there just two days ago and I was truly shocked that a raggedy, faded, well-used cotton T-shirt was $8.99You can buy Brand New for much less ($4) at Giant Tiger. Every item was extremely expensive. A common drinking glass $3.99It's very disappointing and there's no excuse that would suffice. This is obvious Price Gouging, targeting lower-income families. Its very wrong especially considering it's not consignment. All of their goods are given to them for free.

Way too overpriced. Had a pair of shoes priced at $100 behind the counter! The shoes have a ripped zipper on the back of the heel. They won't function properly. Complete garbage. They also had a nice little dress, nothing special about it other than it had tags on it from a dress shop, I have never heard of this brand before but they had it priced for $175. Like what the actual hell! Every pair of shoes they were selling were garbage too see photos attached. All shoes had huge rips in them etc I only took a photo of 2 but there was over 50 pairs like this and they wanted way to much for complete trash! These shoes were priced at $13-$25 each!

This value village sets itself apart with friendly customer service and clean, well-organized shelves. The grab bags are the best here; there are often hidden treasures on the wall. Prices have gone up, especially on clothing, but still affordable overall.

The employees are RUDE. I came here today and found some nice jeans I wanted to try on before I buy so I went to the change room area there were 2 rooms but both were closed and locked with a sign that said speak to an employee for assistance" so I found one and asked her if I could use the change room but Instantly she said "No" and turned away and said "those don't even exist here" with a very rude attitude. Another problem is that the Indian security guard is creepy I constantly see him flirting and getting rlly close with all the young female employees and they clearly look uncomfortable around him. Ridiculous."

No change rooms.Really poor exchange policy.Self checkouts.Multiple security personnel.Prices on former dollar store, or low end retail - the same as would be new.Corporate has made some... choices.The listed charity gets paid for your donation (rate not disclosed), but not for your purchases.If you've got a good" donation

This is becoming one of my top 3 Value Villages. Except I swear they price white items higher just because they're white. I always see non-name brand white clothes priced between $12-30. Other than white clothes, prices depend on who's working that day. The employees stocking the shelves are my favourite part about this store & they always let me have a look at the new racks <3 Employees at other stores give you the side eye for this. Side note- they always play the best music here :)

A friend and I went into this value Village for the first time recently, and for me to describe it, I'd have to say it has an old-school second-hand store feel, like something out of the 80's. I bought two photograph boxes and some brand new scrapbooks. As others have indicated, the prices here are unusually steep, and the truth is you can get double the quality at half the price at Thrift on Kent...and in a modern, up to date atmosphere. Still, the staff at Value Village were pleasant and the shop appeared to be well maintained.

The selection and variety of thing are great. The new staff is very unfriendly. 2 different staff , I tried to get them to smile, but they wouldn't .they stopped letting people try things on, so we bought it anyway. When we brought it back. You can't get your money back or a store credit. You can only exchange. What!!!!! Not cool. We had to try to find another item that was the exact same price. It was a nightmare!
